Shifts and Changes

Ever since the Harmonic Concordance of November 8, 2003, we've been catapulted into huge personal changes. Most of us feel peaceful and trustful of the changes, even though we may not have a clear picture of where we're headed. One lightworker told me recently, "I can feel that I'm moving to a different part of the country. I don't know where, but I trust that I'll be perfectly led." Another lightworker reflected these sentiments when she told me, "Everything in my life is completely changing. Usually, I'd be worried and want to know exactly what's going on. But for some reason, I feel totally calm and peaceful about it all."
As I've written about previously, many people are undergoing physical transformations as they're Divinely guided to change their diets and lifestyle. Other lightworkers are making the transition into self-employment or relationship changes.
One thing's clear, though: those who fight and resist these guided changes are experiencing emotional and life turbulence. It's very important to go with the flow right now, and to follow the waves of inner guidance that lovingly push you to do things like: meditate; eat more healthfully; avoid chemicals; exercise; heal or make changes in jobs and relationships; awaken your manifesting and healing ability; move to a new residence; heal and clear yourself; get your finances in order; take classes; write, teach, and read; and other guidance that helps you and your loved ones to spiritually grow.
We're all riding the wave of ascension and it's part of the mass awakening process. As you become more aware of the magnificent light and love within yourself and others, the old illusions of darkness begin to shrink away. This shift in "power" from the darkness to the light necessarily creates changes.
The one thing you can count on right now is change. You're changing, and everyone around you is changing. The governments; education, medicine, and all aspects of the world are changing. Although we may not know the specific ways in which these changes will shake-out, we do know that it's all for the best.
Your part is very important: Keep your mind focused on seeing only the Light and the Love within yourself and others. Know that you are God's treasure, and you are an amazingly powerful, awesome, valuable, holy, creative, and much-needed soul. Don't play little or compromise in your life. Look for ways to express Divine love to everyone, including yourself. And enjoy the ride of these beautiful changes as we usher in the new age of peace, cooperation, and manifestation!
Trust in the Law of Attraction
by Doreen Virtue
It was that sort of rainy day. Most people were at home where it was warm and dry. The streets and the stores were nearly vacant.
On that day, I walked into a store owned by a lightworker whom I've known for awhile. There she stood, waiting on several customers. Another store clerk was simultaneously helping other customers. She greeted me and explained that the store had been so busy that day, that she and the clerk hadn't had time for lunch.
"But the other stores are empty today!" I said to my friend. "How is it that your store is packed with paying customers?" She smiled and explained that each morning, she prayed for her customers, asking that anyone who came into her store received blessings in all ways.
The result? People are irresistibly drawn into her store. She doesn't advertise and her store window isn't all that appealing instead, my friend relies upon The Law of Attraction.
This law states that whatever you focus upon, you attract and manifest into your life. So, this store owner uses The Law of Attraction to support her business and also to bless her customers.
Someone recently asked me how I advertise my workshops and books. I told them that I promote them through affirmations, visualizations, and prayer. I simply pray each day: "I ask that everyone who'd receive blessings from my workshops be guided to attend. I ask that they be given enough money, time, babysitting, transportation, and other support, so that they may attend the workshop."
The reason that I say this prayer is that I don't simply want warm bodies at my seminars I want people who will enjoy and benefit from the workshops. And I trust that all prayers are answered. Sure enough, at each of my workshops, I hear lots of stories about how people miraculously receive enough money to attend. I also hear about the synchronistic ways that they discover the workshops.
Worrying about marketing your project simply lowers the energy of the entire project, and that will only attract problems, headaches, and people who don't appreciate or "get" your product. So much better to approach any project with love and faith, to attract wonderful support and circumstances. I can't tell you how many miracles I've experienced, where wonderful people have offered to help me from out-of-the-blue because they were attracted to the energy of my workshops and publications.
Don't worry about HOW you'll be helped. The HOW is up to the divinely creative universal wisdom of Light and Love. Instead, focus upon seeing, feeling, and affirming that love surrounds and supports you and your project . . . and release it to the universe with full faith.
On a similar note, when I finished writing my book, "Angel Therapy" a few years ago, I was prepared to send the manuscript to other authors for their endorsements. I'd always asked for endorsements and never questioned the process.
Except this time, the angels stopped me. They told me that my quest for endorsements came from ego-based fears that the book wasn't good enough on its own, to attract readers. The angels counseled me to trust that the messages in Angel Therapy would find their ways to the readers who'd benefit from reading them. So, for the first time, I didn't ask for endorsements.
Well, I have no idea how many copies of the book have sold (I don't focus on earthly measurements most of the time), but I do know that it has sold a lot of copies and is translated into many languages. And the most enjoyable part is listening to stories from people who found the book through happenstance. Like the lady who was shopping at Costco and who found the book in her cart, even though she'd not put it in there. She took this as a sign, and bought the book, and it ended up sparking her relationship with the angels. I know that the prayers support these wonderful synchronicities, which are infinitely more fun than using old-fashioned human marketing strategies! Maybe you've had a similar story with the book it definitely is the angels' book, after all (I'm lucky they even let me put my name on it!).
Over the years of teaching workshops, I've watched graduates of my programs who've had varying degrees of worldly success with putting on their own workshops and getting published. What I've noticed is that whenever anyone pushes or strains to "market" their work in a traditional way, they don't attract an audience. Those who do attract audiences and publishers are the lightworkers who are:
a. Teaching about topics which mirror their personal passions and interests. This is different from lecturing or writing on a topic because you think it's marketable, or because another speaker or author is having worldly success with the topic. You've got to teach and write about topics which you truly are enthusiastic about, or you won't be operating from the Law of Attraction.
b. Those who surround and support their projects with prayer, visualization, and affirmations. These are the lightworkers who are operating out of faith and they're attracting audiences and publishers! They're open to receiving Divine guidance about their projects, and this guidance truly does steer us in fruitful directions.
The bottom line is that love is the highest vibrational energy, which creates and manifests the results which are truly joyful for everyone involved. Ask Archangel Michael to remind you and teach you about your life's purpose, and to guide your steps in creating a service-based project which will bring great blessings to the world. Not only will you enjoy the benefits, but so will all of the beings whose lives you touch. Blessings to you, lightworker, for your service of light and love!
Talk to Your Body!
Angel Tip: Whenever you're around someone who's experiencing stress, guilt, anger, or sadness, your body becomes confused and thinks that these emotions belong to you. That's why you feel residual emotions after being around the emotional person. The angels advise us to have a conversation with our body. The body is an elemental type of spirit and it needs to be consulted and consoled. Tell your body, "These emotions belong to (name of person). They don't belong to me or to you." Your body will then release the other person's energies, and you'll feel lighter and freer.

Dr. Doreen Virtue, P.h.D., Spiritual, Clairvoyant Psychologist
|
 |
Dr. Doreen Virtue (yes, that is her real name) is a spiritual clairvoyant psychologist who holds B.A. M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Virtue is the author of 22 books on mind-body-spirit issues. Included in this list are such titles as: Healing with the Angels, Divine Guidance, Angel Therapy, The Lightworker's Way and The Yo-Yo Diet Syndrome.
Dr. Virtue is the founder and former director of WomanKind Psychiatric Hospital at Cumberland Hall Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. She was also an administrator at Woodside Women's Hospital in the San Francisco Bay Area. Both all-women psychiatric hospitals specialized in treating women's psychological issues. Dr. Virtue also directed three outpatient psychiatric centers, including an adolescent drug and alcohol abuse center.
As a child, Doreen was a natural clairvoyant, seeing and conversing with what many people call "invisible friends" (which are really angels and deceased loved ones). But this natural gift and ability was little understood by the young Doreen and her family, and was the cause of teasing by her friends. Consequently, Doreen learned to deny her abilities, effectively shutting them down before she was mature enough to fully appreciate them.
But on July 15, 1995, Doreen's personal life and her career, marked by exemplary but conventional success, would be irrevocably altered by an incident that is nothing short of miraculous. Doreen had been ignoring her angels' guidance to become a teacher of mind-body-spirit issues. So, when an angel warned Doreen that her car was going to be stolen on that fateful July afternoon, Doreen ignored him. After all, her habit of arguing with and ignoring the angels was deeply ingrained by then. Despite this, the angel did not abandon
Doreen in her most dire moment - as she was parking, two armed men, intent on a carjacking, brandished weapons and physically accosted the unsuspecting Doreen. The voice spoke to her again - it was loud, distinctly male and it instructed her to scream with all her might. This time she listened, she screamed, and her life was saved by passersby who became alarmed and sent her attackers running.
Dr. Virtue immediately began a daily rigorous practice of receiving and deciphering her Divine Guidance. Simultaneously, she was reexamining her spiritual beliefs, along with her Western psychological beliefs, the end result being twofold: Dr. Virtue was guided to look at psychology from a whole new perspective, and her natural clairvoyance rapidly returned with the same clarity and strength of her childhood experiences.
Dr. Virtue's practice then naturally evolved into "Angel Therapy," in which she combines her skills as a psychologist with her spiritual abilities. Dr. Virtue's belief is simple; everyone is born with some form or forms of psychic abilities - in other words, a sixth sense. This ability, or abilities - like all other God-given abilities, needs to be nurtured and exercised to maximize it's strengths. Dr. Virtue cites over 300 scientific studies from Harvard, Cornell, and other leading universities supporting her beliefs in people's natural psychic abilities and in the power of prayer in healing.
Dr. Virtue currently lectures and gives experiential workshops on spiritual psychological issues worldwide. Doreen's topics include: angel therapy, angel communication, spiritual healing, mediumship, reincarnation, channeling, and other spiritual topics. Many of her students are medical and psychological professionals, including M.D.'s, R.N.'s, psychologists, and social workers.
Dr. Virtue's national media includes: Oprah, CNN, Good Morning America, The View with Barbara Walters, Donny & Marie, Roseanne, and other national programs. National print media includes: Redbook, Woman's Day, and USA Today.
