Kristi Huggins, known as Mirabai to the online community, moved to WA State 5 years ago on a "whim". The first person she met was Linda Glendenning, owner of Cove Crystals, who placed the very first crystal in Kristi's hand, thus beginning her love and passion for the crystal community.
Kristi has spent the last 5 years in ongoing self-study of crystals, minerals and stones in the metaphysical, spiritual and healing modalities.

Healing Applications:
Indicolite is a very useful diagnostic tool which can be used in any healing modality to help one identify the underlying causes of "die-ease". Assists in boosting the immune system, corrects fluid imbalances, and can be helpful in treating kidneys and bladder, thymus and thyroid, and chronic sore throat. Can help in the areas of insomnia, night sweats, sinusitis and bacterial infection.

In addition to the general properties of Tourmaline,

Interview with Jan Custers
Spiritual Artist and Crystal Creator

A while back, I received an email from a man who shared a most unique creation with me. He was kind enough to mail me a CD of his creations all the way from the Netherlands, where he resides. I was amazed and extremely touched by his work. His crystal creations, though the use of photography, graphics and his insight, provide a unique perspective into the crystal itself and the energy it shares. I have not found one yet, that has not resonated with me on some level and I want to share him with all of you. This is the story of Jan Custers, spiritual artist and crystal creator.
Q: Hi Jan, before we begin, would you share with the readers a little about yourself?
A: Sure! In 1955 I was born in a little village called ELL, in the province LIMBURG of the Netherlands. I am the eldest of six children. Three brothers, of which two of them are twins, and two sisters. In my youth it was quiet obvious that I was talented to go study art. I made drawings, paintings etcetera. I loved the time in which I spent my youth. Modern times. The sixties. Radio and television, faster communication.
In 1974 I began to study arts at the Academy of Maastricht in the south of LIMBURG. At that time I had already met the woman who would become my wife. We married in 1978.In 1980 we both finished Academy. She as a fashion designer and I finished the study of Monumental Arts. At that time I made a lot of graphics and began exploring photography.
The eighties were very experimental. Many exhibitions, travelling through Europe, fashion shows, touring with a group of musicians, giving concerts and exhibitions in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and England. The fall of the wall in Berlin.My wife and I made some travels to Turkey at the end of the eighties. At that time we felt very attached to Turkey and we still are. That was our home! There we experienced many moments that we had the feeling that we were there before, a long, long time ago!
In 1991 our son Abi was born. We have visited Turkey several times as a family since his birth. His name is Turkish in a way.
Our life changed because of the birth of Abi. I got a job. I am working now for the local government for about 10 years.
We moved to Eijsden, a little village at the border of Belgium. I got used to work with computers and I found new possibilities to go on with art. Computer Art. But only in my free time. My wife went on with her designs of fashion and e specially wedding dresses. She now owns a wedding dress shop in Maastricht and is very successful.
In 2002 my interests in esoteric etcetera stuff came back after I put it aside for a decade and I began reading some books which came my way. Extraterrestrials, Long forgotten civilizations, Atlantis, Lemuria and so on.
Q: When did you first become interested in crystals?
A: In the summer of 2003, I did some scanning and making pictures of some mineral stones I already had ( a tiny, very special one from the priest in the early eighties and a few stones my wife Truus had) and some I received along with a book I bought. That was the beginning of my interest in mineral stones and crystals. The patterns in how the stones were put together I found interesting because in those patterns I saw figures of lightships, Merkaba's and geometry. This began the new form of drawing/creating that I have been perfecting since April 2003.
The first time I heard about Lemurian crystals, was when I got an e-mail from Dokka Srinivasu from India. In the summer of 2003 he sent me a e-mail in which he said that he found a website called curiogrove (http://www.curiogrove.com/) showing some amazing Lemurian Star Seed crystals! I went on looking there and I saw a crystal, so beautiful…., I felt in love!!! I had to buy that one which was called "Clear Vizzen". It really pulled at me! So I bought it! That was the first time that I had read about Lemurian Crystals. Lemuria! Atlantis! I felt excitement seeing that one! So, in September 2003 I received that Crystal. Clear Vizzen was the one that brought Blue Crystal World alive for me!
It is a long story regarding Dokka. Anyway, he and I e-mail a lot with each other. It began in August 2002. Since then, we mailed a lot about spirituality, ancient civilisations, outer space and stories about star systems, crop circles, sacred geometry, ascended Masters, Kabbala, meditation, karma, dharma, ancient stories, history, archaeology and we found out that we are brothers from eons ago! We did received many confirming channellings and messages regarding our relationship.
That was really interesting to find out! So, I decided to visit him, which I did, in December 2003. And I took Clear Vizzen with me on the trip in India.
Q: Now, I know of your unique talents using crystals in your creations, but would love for the readers to know too. Can you tell us how you first started using crystals in your beautiful artwork?
A: The first time I started using crystals in the artwork was when Clear Vizzen did arrive. To me it was THE Crystal. For me, the first Lemurian crystal. In the hours after receiving this crystal, I began making pictures of him. I continue to make many pictures of that Crystal, even today. Also later with other crystals. He began appearing in the Crystal Images that occurred on the screen. It felt so smooth and easy going, already in the beginning while making the images. It felt also a little bit strange that it so went on the flow. At first I did not know what that strange feeling was while making crystal images.It felt strange but also very comfortable. Every time a new image was done I felt very surprised seeing the result. I wondered every time. But the images in which Clear Vizzen appeared were indeed very special to me.
Q: When you decide on creating a new piece of crystal art, can you take us through the process you use? Do you see it in your mind first? is it shared with you from a guide? Etc
A: Those are a few questions, which I like to answer. It took me some time to understand the process. Before I did went to India, there were many weekends in September, October and November in which new Crystal Light Images were made. I began to understand that, in a way, I was guided while making the Images. As I have mentioned already, I always wondered how easy and swiftly the Images developed on the screen. After making pictures mostly a session begins while I am saving some pictures on the hard disc. I never know how the pictures will develop and when and why some elements of crystals coming into an Image. Also when making pictures of crystals, I never have in mind how the image or pictures will become first. Sometimes nothing happens and then when for example some light comes in, I just begin making pictures, turning and putting the crystals on different places, with other crystals in strange combinations and so on. I began finding stones and some new crystals. I was amazed about the results. I began to work with pictures I made from skies and crystal figures began to appear in the skies. I truly did find a crystal world! I felt that there must be more to do with it, but I did not know how to do it.
At that time I had contact with a lady who was very inspiring to me and encouraged me to go on with that kind of Images because she felt strong energy in them, as she said. Because I had some questions, she was so kind to do some channelling for me. Then I received some answers which gave me the confirmation that it would be good for communication. The Arcturians were with me and they assured me that the Images would go around the world. Awakening messages for humanity. It felt good and new Images came on the flow and via email I began sending some of them away. I received nice responses and reactions. Dokka, in India was enthusiastic and some Images appeared in an India magazine with an article about the two of us.
In India I discovered the magic and the spirituality of India. Also I found some crystals and beautiful stones. And the huge stones in the landscape! The magic stones! They lay as if Gods did put them there upon hills.
Back home from India for several weeks, new Crystal Images began to come through. I believe it was because of the crystals I brought with me from India. Than I found the site of Kristi and MoonCave Crystals, and I bought a new crystal. I also got in touch with a woman in Israel, which liked to talk with me about the Images, and she began sending me some crystals. An other lady from Australia, Heather, sends me a lot of information about crystals. She says that the crystals are working with us, not in the opposite way of thinking.
So, in the past months things went on very fast. In March a name came through. The name of DARION, my Arcturian guide. Sometimes during the process of making Images I could feel his presence. He surprised me many times. Sometimes while I was typing he took over and began to speak about the crystals. He is funny sometimes and has a rolling strong voice.
In the past months many new Images were made and they became series of Crystal Light Images. Cd-Roms were sent off to people all over the world. That process still continues. New crystals and stones arrived in the Blue Crystal World.
The crystals in my working room are on a Blue Crystal World under the window on the west.
The crystals work together to develop Crystal Light Images. They tell little stories. They form sacred rocks or secret places on Blue Crystal World. Wonderful landscapes and doorways, gateways and flares of splendid golden rainbow lights are to be seen.
Q: What is your favorite crystal and why?
A: My favourite Crystal? Very difficult to answer. They are all unique just like we are. But the crystal Clear Vizzen was with me during my trip in India, so I have a special bond with him.
One evening in India, when I was laying in my hut with Clear Vizzen in my left hand, about 100 meters of the beach, between many palm trees, listening to the sounds of nature, I slowly faded away into landscapes that were so beautiful and breathtaking! I never did see that kind of landscapes! It was as if Clear Vizzen took me by his hands and leaded me through beautiful cliffs, waterfalls, meadows, into the fresh air and looking down at the glowing surfaces of Mother Earth. As the light swirled around her and in her. I was flying above marvellous areas I really loved to see! Mountains and valleys in harmony with Mother Earth.
So, Clear Vizzen is for me a special one, I must admit. Yet, the other ones feel the same for me. Every time I look at each one of them and hold one in my hands I feel its energy and discover new lights and knowledge. Some look like Light Warriors. Crystal Space shuttles! The one that Kristi sent me has a perfect shape of a space shuttle! With a perfect Triangle!
Q: Can you give us some ideas as to how utilizing crystals helps you in your daily life?
A: As crystals work with me they show me their presence every day. Their appearance changes many times as the light changes through the day. Each time they tell me new stories and lessons perhaps. Getting to know more about myself, in myself. They tune me into time. They tune my body. They tune my consciousness and multi dimensions of myself. They tune me into my spiritual being that I AM.
I feel as a source of light through which the crystals are able to communicate with us humans. A channel to give through information of higher knowledge by entities who like to assist us in ascension. A new crystalline communication which will set some crystalline grids on Mother Earth.
