This bright summer season, we venture into the realm of labyrinths, constellations, elements (air, earth, water and fire), angels and the Garden of Eden. As we assume our places of power around God's eternal spiral of radiating intelligence and manifesting power, it is important to maintain our dignity, open up our higher minds and listen without judgment or forethought. The holiest symbol known to the ancients was the circle with a dot in its center. Such is the labyrinth, a series of concentric circles culminating in an "elevator" if you will, to God. Mankind always has built towers, or elf stones - like at Stonehenge or on Easter Island to celebrate the worship and mastery of manifestation of certain directions of power to be brought into creation on Earth. Many times you have read how elevated humans may become co-creators with God and this truly is the divine experiment in which you now participate. Please note I did not say your power rivaled God's. It however may enhance and illuminate Their Ideas, Truth and Plan to others as we wield the powers in our full balance of mind, body and spirit. As above, also below speaks to this formula of emulation.
As we imagine the created manifestation of God's Ear {the labyrinth}, try to envision layers upon layers of wisdom being laid down upon every inch of ether and land. Understand that all your vision and the wisdom of those who have walked the labyrinth all these years has built up a stockpile of spiritual "power" that any master may wield in carrying out God's Plan. The labyrinth is an ancient form of energy cultivation and transmission known to civilizations going back as far as 5,000 B.C in Siberia. All labyrinths have two things in common: they are usually circular in nature and their entrance point is also their exit. Unlike a maze, they are designed to emulate the Sun, stars and planets revolving around the center of peace, which is the Heart of God. While we know about the corn labyrinths and the English Garden variety there is also the famous labyrinth of Crete where hails the tale of Theseus, the Minotaur and Ariadne who spun the string that led Theseus safely away from the demon and freed the innocent Ariadne from eternal damnation. It was said by Joseph Campbell that, "The hero needs to hold the illuminating thread of the feminine to find his way from death to new life."
The principles behind the labyrinth are the Laws of God. You can "feel" Cause & Effect, Karma, Giving & Receiving, Pure Potentiality and the Path of Destiny at work when you walk these specially programmed spirals of power. It is said in every age, the Masters will re-create the path home to Eden and labyrinths have been one of the strongest, surest vehicles for human ascendancy for ages. Hence the enclosed walls, powerful portals guarded by angelic forces, and the theme of The Hermit Card prevailing over the entire area. The eternal spiral of the constellations and prevailing wisdom of astrology also gains power within the walls of a labyrinth. When all your positions of power hum together in harmony, the power generated may touch the hearts of many on this planet and possibly create a big enough stir to get God's attention. Labyrinth visualizations and walks are also ideal for group work.
So, how do you best understand utilizing this power at your disposal with dignity, integrity, honor and trust? Learn everything you can about your astrological sign and everyone elses as well. Are you not a microcosm of the macrcosm? Do you not have a little of everything within you? So, find out why the ancients believed that the horns of Aries represented the Gates of Eden (or the labyrinth) or paradise? And then we look at Taurus which in its power and toil prepares the way for ascension or the planting of the seeds in the ground. In Gemini we see The Portal of the Temple known as the Tree of Life, the bringing forth of dual power - being able to seed with our thoughts and bodies. In Cancer we experience nurturing, warmth and the beginning of the knowledge that will decide Adam and Eve's fate way down the road during Scorpio. Leo asks us to make decisions as a leader, to emulate God or not. Virgo gives us caution and asks us to trust our heart. In Libra we face the balance of our actions and thoughts.
The Fall of Man is replayed every year in our change of seasons. The knowledge of how to return to Eden plays out in our lives right under our noses and it isn't until we begin to approach the Light within, during Sagittarius, that we experience the hope of God and know that we had the power to return by listening to our inner selves all along. How interesting that the ascendant of the United States' or predominant power lies in Sagittarius? By the time we get to Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces, we are thinking with our spirits, no longer as pedestrian humans, and the return to Eden begins again.
See your astrological sign as a portal to power, 30 degrees of power moving toward the center of the labyrinth and the Heart of God, for the known universe and the circumference of the circle is 360 degrees. All these powers are being sent forth from God in order to assist humanity in accomplishing the great Work of God.
When you communicate within a labyrinth, remember you are giving public expression to your very private spiritual thoughts. Respect the walk, keep your voice down outside of the labyrinth while others walk. Try to see the entire enclosed area as sacred ground and walk reverently. We cannot communicate as well with the angels because we constantly lower our own vibrations so that even God has a hard time hearing us these days. Never discount the value of the 12 directions working together in union as concerns creating and manifesting new order out in the world. Labyrinths are places of miracles. As in the example of Theseus, the labyrinth has always represented the Path of the Hero or Champion within. Utilize the walk within at all times whether you are on the grounds of a labyrinth or not.
In order to continue to give seed to God's Inner Plan for you, the illuminating thread of the "Divine Feminine" must be woven around and through the labyrinth that you are. It is only when the Father has divulged The Plan and The Mother has manifested It that The Innocent can flourish. You are unmanifested awareness and full-blown potential. Utilize the imagery and actuality of the labyrinth to help you grow, find peace and work with like-minded individuals. Recapture Eden on a regular basis. Support your local labyrinth with your heart, mind and body. These special vortices are fueled by your compassion, reflection and spiritual intention. May you always find your bliss on the circular walk to God...
