Trust Your Vibes
The Best Christmas
Gift of all, Trusting your Vibes

When a person decides to awaken their intuition, what they are really choosing to do is consciously embrace the greatest natural gift of all; guiding wisdom of their spirit. And when we embrace our spirit, we become far better equipped to live the kind of lives our hearts really desire.
Awakening intuition is not something only the select and most "meditated" few can do. Actually it isn't very difficult at all because it a natural part of our hard wiring as six sensory spiritual beings. Intuition itself actually means "inner-teacher". And when we awaken our intuition, our "vibes" as I like to call them is that we are inviting our inner teacher, the most brilliant part of our awareness to lead our lives. This voice strives to keep us mindful of who we really are, and creative in our ability to express our authentic spirit in our everyday lives.
To activate your vibes, your inner voice, start by accepting that you have a sixth sense, even if it's in the dormant mode right now. Our sixth sense is our natural inner genius, and though you might not believe in it, it's normal to be a spiritual being guided by the Universe. Six-sensory people know this; five sensory people don't. To live a higher way, it's time to stop doubting when your sixth sense speaks to you and start accepting and appreciating it.
Second, you must come up with incentives to listen and trust your vibes. For one, it's practical. It saves time. It connects the dots of your life and attracts all you need to avoid the endless struggle for answers and relationships to help you grow. It creates win-win situations. Best of all, trusting your vibes relieves you of worry. That alone should be enough incentive to get your sixth sense up and running.
One of the easiest ways to jump start your vibes into action is to think of it as accept it as an honored guest in your life. It is important to prepare for your spirit in much the same as you would prepare for any guest. And in your home growing up, every time we prepared for a guest, the first thing we did was to clean up the house and put out the welcome mat. Prepare to receive your higher awareness by clearing out the unnecessary in your life and putting you home in order. Literally. It is hard enough to be conscious of the most obvious when your life is in order, but when things are cluttered, disorganized and out of order it becomes almost impossible to pay attention to the more subtle direction in life.
Another step in awakening your sixth sense would be to slow down and check in with your spirit. When I teach awakening your vibes, I tell my students that what you are beginning to do is build a relationship with your spirit. And as with any relationship, especially in the earliest stages, it is important to take time for it and pay attention. If you are rushing through everyday like a runaway train, chances are you will not notice the more subtle guiding direction coming from your spirit. You must quiet your mind and pay attention if you really want to hear what your inner teacher has to say. My own mentor, Charlie Goodman, who taught me how to develop my sixth sense, suggested that I make a daily appointment with my spirit, and said that it was even more helpful if I kept that appointment everyday at the same time. When you do that your vibes speak up on schedule. Make an appointment to check in with your self, with your inner teacher and keep that appointment every day.
Finally, if you really want to hear the voice of your intuition, you will have to quiet voices that distract you. These include the voices of judgment, negativity, criticism, and self doubt. There are several ways to quiet these distracting voices. One is to go on a criticism fast, and have the discipline to avoid all critical thought or expressions for a week or two. Another would be to forgive the people that you hold a grudge against. It is amazing how much inner dialogue is necessary to keep grudges going. Finally it is extremely valuable to pray to a Higher Power to guide you in focusing on hearing your spirit's voice. Asking for help along the way is also a very powerful way to hear your inner teacher.
The reason for awakening your sixth sense is so that you can make better decisions in life and in making better decisions for your self you add to the harmony of the planet in general, which we call all agree is so essential right now. I also personally believe that without the voice of your spirit guiding you, it would be almost impossible to have the wonderful life that the Universe and God really intends you to have.
A fun and immediately effective way to activate and start trusting your vibes is to use the Trust Your Vibes Oracle Cards. (Hay House) There are 63 cards total, each with a tool for tapping into your higher sense and guiding you in the moment on which way to go or what intuitive action to take in any given situation. Working with them fine tunes your intuition and gets you into the habit of checking on with your vibes instead of "figuring things out" the five sensory way. Another positive tool is to work the Trust Your Vibes book with a friend or two. Buy a copy for yourself and one for a friend and work together. Nothing stimulates intuition faster than having a supportive friend with whom you can share your intuitive interests and insights. And besides its fun. Give yourself the best Christmas gift of all and let it be the gift of trusting your vibes.
Many blessings
Sonia

Sonia Choquette is a world-renowned and highly spirited six-sensory author, story teller energetic healer, and intuitive teacher who specializes in helping others recognize that we are all endowed with a sixth sense that we can count on.
A masterful and humorous teacher committed to strengthening intuition in our daily lives, she is the bestselling author of seven books:
Diary of a Psychic,
The Psychic Pathway,
Your Heart's Desire,
The Wise Child, True Balance, Your Psychic Pathway to New Beginnings,
Your Psychic Pathway to Joy,
and numerous audio editions.
A highly trained six-sensory intuitive and life guide, with an extensive background in Eastern and Western mysticism, Sonia was educated at the University of Denver and at the Sorbonne in Paris, and holds a Ph.D. in metaphysics.
She says, "I am comfortably and competently intuitive because I was encouraged at all times to be awake, aware, and guided by my sixth sense. I grew up in an environment that treated the sixth sense as the first and most important of our senses. I view it not only as natural, but actually essential to successful navigation in life. Intuition is a gift that we all have, that we can all experience, that we can all trust and that we all need!"
In working with people for more than 32 years of almost daily one-on-one private consultations, Sonia insists that the sixth sense is natural to us all, but dormant in most. Whether we call them "hunches" or "feelings" or as she does, "vibes," everyone has them, but unfortunately most people dismiss or ignore them to their detriment.
As we try to adapt to the world we now live in, Sonia emphasizes that trusting our vibes, our sixth sense in action is "no longer optional. Awakening and strengthening our sixth sense is becoming more and more fundamental to our ability to live harmoniously with ourselves and others in the new world order."
Paying attention to the sixth sense-learning to listen to it, to trust it, to train oneself to call on its guidance-are the challenges facing six-sensory people trapped in a five-sensory culture.
Approaching human potential "from the inside, out," Sonia offers a unique brand of grounded and practical techniques for people to use in order to activate their most sense and let it lead their everyday life. Her mission, in other words, is to help people to "trust their vibes."
She guides them in how to build a psychic scaffolding to support their sixth sense so they can be more brilliant and effective than they've ever thought possible.
She teaches that our sixth sense's primary function is to guide our soul's growth and keep us connected to our path and purpose-without its direction, we lose our way.
In her first book, The Psychic Pathway, Sonia introduces us to our 'vibes." In her latest book, Trust Your Vibes, she shows you how to master them.
Sonia's own path has encompassed bestselling books published in more than 23 countries, speaking and conducting workshops around the globe, thousands of grateful clients, and a home in Chicago that she shares with husband Patrick Tully, daughters Sonia and Sabrina, and a poodle named Miss T.
