The Energetic Planetary
Shift Occurring Now

by Jacquelyn Small
The Changing Energetic Forces of Creation
and their Qualities of Manifestation

Perhaps you've never thought about this before, but every Age we pass through has a particular quality of the God-force as its priority for our reverence and consumption. These qualities are the forces of creation itself, without which nothing could ever be. Each quality determines how each Age will "behave" characteristically, in order to represent the current unfolding petal of God's flowering in our world. Though conscious of it or not, we are each greatly affected by these Rays of Creation and their power to motivate us.

Everything created is spiritual in its essence. Yet, in our religious training we are never taught about the Powers of Creation only to worship a God who created it all. I don't know about you, but this has never been enough for me. I'm too curious to know more about how our world turns, and what principles underlie our deepest, most profound movements through time that make humanity what it is, and our life on earth how it is.

We are currently still functioning at the "turning of an Age." Thought the Piscean Age has ended, the fallout from its shadow side is still at hand. And this always happens when a new Ray of Creation is taking its place as the guide for the coming times. We are leaving the Age of Pisces, ruled by the Sixth Ray of Creation and entering the Aquarian Age, ruled by the Seventh Ray of Creation. And never could two creative forces be more contradictory! They are, in fact, exact opposites. Because of this formidable cosmic clash of energies, it's imperative to us that we understand what is happening. It will help explain the 9/11 attack and the terrorism and warring oppositions currently bounding through our world in high gear.

So let's first take a look at the qualities of the Force that is leaving the Sixth Ray of Devotion; and then, we'll see what the incoming Seventh Ray of Ceremony and Order looks like. Many of you will relate to these dramatic changes you're starting to feel in your own bodies, minds and hearts for these creative forces affect us all.

The Sixth Ray of Abstract Idealism and Devotion
Pinkish-Orange or Soft Magenta

The Creative Force that Ruled in the Piscean Age

Its strengths: Devotion, single-mindedness, love, sensitivity, loyalty, worship, idealism.

These are the qualities of our God-nature we were to develop during the past astrological cycle of approximately 2, 024 years. In the Western Mystery Tradition, the Christ Consciousness modeled by Jesus and the Buddha-nature modeled by Siddhartha Guatama Buddha are the archetypes of this cosmic force.

Its vices when over-used: Selfish or jealous, possessive love, gullible, over-leaning on others through devotion, superstition, dogmatic adherence to a leader or a cause, prejudice, secret desire for martyrdom, over-rapid conclusions, fiery anger, highly reactionary, too idealistic.

You will see by these vices that, as the Piscean Age started losing force (since about 1935 it started going out), its negative shadow reared its ugly head and brought us its culmination: the 9/11 tragedy. The over-riding qualities that capable of bringing about such a disaster were these: overly-devoted, brash, reactionary martyrdom of the suicide bombers and their fanatic zealotry and unquestioned worship of a leader giving them instructions by letter to follow once they had boarded the airplanes.

The lessons learned from this Ray are the qualities of purity, inquiry, truth, tolerance, serenity, balance and common sense.

This energetic force is full of religious instincts and impulses and intense personal feeling and devotion to a person or to a cause. It brings about extremes in thinking. Friends are either angels or enemies. "Too muchness" describes its feeling tone. The best type makes a saint; the worst, a bigot or fanatic, zealot, martyr or inquisitor.

All crusades have this Sixth Ray quality. People ruled by the Sixth Ray can flame into fury or fiery wrath or lay down their lives for a cause. But they will not lift a finger to help those outside their cause. Never do they make good statesmen or businessmen, as they are "off-putting" in their zealotry; but the do make very effective preachers or orators for other gullible souls.

In a positive fashion, Sixth Ray people will be the poets of the emotions or the musicians who make beautiful melodies. Faith healing and prayer are their approaches to God. Also, these souls are good at seeking union with God through meditation. Idealism is their major gift.

When used rightly and in balance, this Ray embodies the capacity to see the ideal. It is responsible for the formulation of inspirations and strong causes. Pure religion and undefiled spirituality is its highest expression. Its lowest form is organized religion and orthodoxy that will not bend and too much confidence in one's own personal views of what truth is. This is seen so obviously where hatred and bigotry are touted in the name of God. Its pomp and luxurious appeal to the outer eye and ear causes much separation and loss of the simplicity of The Christ's true ways.

Sixth Ray personalities are much more mystical than a Seventh Ray disciple and apt to regard material life as evil and might only lay emphasis on the soul. Never put a Sixth Ray individual in charge of a cause; he will create dissention and separatism and at worst, great wars.

Seventh Ray of Ceremonial Law and Magic
The Indigo-Violet Ray

The Creative Force Ruling in the Aquarian Age

Its strengths: Synthesis, perseverance, courage, self-reliance, courtesy, extreme care in details, true self-empowerment and unique self-expression.

Its vices: Formalism, pride, superficial judgments, self-opinion over-indulged, manipulating. At its worst: black magic.

The lessons learned from this Ray are the qualities of unity, wide-mindedness, tolerance, humility, group consciousness, non-competitiveness, gentleness and love.

The power of the seventh Ray is inherent in physical matter, such as the power stored in the atom or in a volcano or at the core or center of every human being. It destroys crystalized forms in order to release the true values hidden in the forms, which are each form'4s law, order, and natural way of being. Through the Seventh Ray the First Ray1s will of Divinity is expressed.

The Seventh Ray is known as the Ray of "all things done decently and in order." It compels the order already existent in every person to come forth and be seen. This is the Ray of the high priest, the magician, and, with the help of the Fourth Ray, the artist. This Ray also creates people who are born geniuses in organization. It is the Ray of form, or the perfect sculptor or architect. It can design beautiful forms through the quality of synthesis.

Seventh Ray souls or personalities delight in fixed ceremonies and rituals or great processions, and love the rules of precedence. The low type is superstitious and will take too much interest in omens and dreams or occult practices. The high type is determined to say the right thing at the right time and for the right reason. Their prime work is to perform the magical work of blending spirit and matter through which the life can reveal the glory of God.

The Seventh Ray produces cohesion of the four lower natures (physical, emotional, mental and etheric) and thereby can bring about the integrated ego. Seventh Ray people are ritualists, but not in the narrow sense or creating occult rituals and ceremonies, but more as an organized ability to bring about results in any type of organization.

A Seventh Ray person meditates more like a one-pointed concentrating businessman would do, not as one who goes inward passively as done more through the Sixth Ray meditator.

This Ray is coming in strongly now to "ground" the idealism of the passing Sixth Ray. It will make results physically visible. Its function is to clothe spirit with matter, producing form. Because of the power of this Ray, the higher function of marrying soul and personality is now possible. It does not govern the dense physical plane (Third Ray does that) but the etheric plane. Our etheric body (energy body) is responsive to and developed by the Seventh Ray. This Ray's qualities manifest through the principle of radiation which produces calculated effects. This Ray embodies the outstanding characteristic of a coordinating factor that unifies the inner quality and the outer tangible form or appearance of a thing. It brings revelation and light.

Through our willingness to study these qualities, and examine our own characteristic motivations, we can allow the Seventh Ray to influence and inspire us to help unfold the divine Plan for humanity. We are called to make this energetic shift, each and every one of us, if we are to bring peace of this struggling, warring planet.
