Some basic tips for decorating your home for success

· Keep the home free from clutter, go through closets. look under the bed and empty cupboards, get rid of everything that you will not use

· Keep things where they belong and keep related items together, all shoes should be in one place, all food items should be in the kitchen, all books should be arranged neatly in shelves, clothes should be folded or hung neatly

· Make sure that furniture does not block doors and windows


Some tips for the Bedroom

· The feet should not face the doorway directly - this is considered to be bad for health

· The head should not be under a window - this creates confusion and ungrounded ness

· Avoid putting the head of the bed in the north direction, the magnetic pull from the north direction can cause headaches and confusion

· A mirror should not be placed where one can see it immediately upon rising - this can cause fear

· Sacred items and mirrors should not be placed at the foot of the bed - showing the feet to sacred items is disrespectful and keeping the feet toward a mirror is like kicking oneself!

· Keep the bedroom free from anything that is unrelated to sleep or contradictory to relaxation to enhance sleep.

· The bedroom should not house a TV, a stereo where you can play soothing music however is a good idea and a stereo with an alarm is great rather than a clock radio, this way you can set your alarm with soothing music to help you ease into your day peacefully.

· Knick knacks should be kept to a minimum in the bedroom and all clothing should be kept neatly away in drawers or closets to keep the room peaceful and serene.

· Candles or an aromatherapy diffuser are great for the bedroom. Soothing scents can help you sleep.

· A light with a dimmer switch is also a good idea. This way you can set the lights dim to create a peaceful atmosphere in which to sleep.

· The bedroom should be used mainly for rest and relaxation. Other activities like watching TV take away from the calm atmosphere required for a good sleep.
