“What’s my life’s purpose?” is one of the most frequent questions I’m asked. Our angels know the answer to this question, and they want to give us guidance, encouragement, and support concerning this topic.
When someone asks, “What’s my life purpose?” the underlying question may be one of the following:
What career would I find the most fulfilling?
Can I quit my present job and be financially secure following my heart’s desire?
Am I ready to be self-employed?
What’s my true passion that will bring excitement and meaning to my life?
These are wonderful and very important questions to consider, and our angels can definitely give us answers. In particular, the Archangel Michael can give us the answers to these questions. Michael knows the contents of our soul contracts and akashic records (Book of Life). He can help us to remember why we came to earth, and the mission that we intend for our lives. He can also guide us on the next step to take toward the fulfillment of our dreams.
Michael can also give us the courage to change careers, so that we’re in alignment with our personal truth. The Divine Plan of Peace calls for each of us to be working in fields that we feel personally meaningful and exciting. You know that you’ve found your life’s purpose if you wake up in the morning excited about your work! Doors open up easily for those who are working in the field of their life’ purpose. There are lots of signs, both from your feelings and from the world’s feedback, to let you know if you’re on your purpose.
Having a career aligned with your purpose brings health in all areas: emotional, physical, spiritual, relationship, and financial. With the New Year just around the corner, now’s the perfect time to set the intention of manifesting a career in alignment with your life’s purpose.
The angels have taught me that our life’s purpose is the form of love that we elected to teach during our lifetime. Each of us is here to remember and teach about divine love. The form that we teach about love differs for all of us. Virtually all careers offer opportunities to teach love, in one way or another. It may involve bringing joy or laughter through arts or crafts; conducting healings; supporting a cause that you believe in; helping children, the environment, animals, or some personally meaningful group; writing and teaching; meditating and praying; and an infinite number of other possibilities.
Everyone’s life purpose is equally important, just as all musicians in an orchestra are equally necessary. No one can beat you to your purpose, so you needn’t worry that you’ll be usurped by someone else. In Heaven, there’s no competition or time.
Joy is the key. If something brings you joy, then you’re making an important contribution to the world. Joy lifts us all up, and helps with the world’s collective ascension process. No matter what you’re doing, look for ways to infuse your moments with joy.
Since worry energy is unhealthy, it’s important not to worry over your life’s purpose. The angels say, “Instead of worrying, put that same time and energy into asking for our help!”
Before going to sleep, ask Archangel Michael to clarify any questions or concerns you have about your life’s purpose. He’ll give you answers while you’re sleeping, which is when we’re most open to receiving angelic support and healing.
It’s also really effective to communicate with Michael via writing. Take a pad of paper, go to a quiet place, and write Michael a question at the top of the page. He will definitely answer you, as he answers all of us equally. Write whatever impressions come to you, whether they’re feelings, thoughts, words, or visions. Soon, you’ll have very clear written conversations with Michael.
Archangel Michael says, “The purpose of your life is to serve in a way that brings great joy to yourself and others. Don’t worry about finding your purpose. Instead, focus upon serving a purpose, and then your purpose will serve you.”
Doreen’s 2006 Goddesses & Angels Tour

You’ll learn how to connect with the goddesses, archangels, and guardian angels to powerfully heal, manifest, and receive guidance. Participate in a Beautiful Healing Art Project
Laguna Beach artist Gary Simpson is collecting soil from the 191 nations of the world, to create a stunning visual representation of the oneness of our planet. Each nation’s soil is displayed on a square panel which is placed in quilt-like fashion next to the other nations’ soil panels. The result is a multi-colored display which reminds us just how connected all of the countries and the people are. Gary hopes to install the display at the U.N.
Gary is still seeking soil samples from many countries where readers of this newsletter live and visit, including Turkey, many Eastern Europe nations, and South Africa. Dr. Doreen Virtue, P.h.D., Spiritual, Clairvoyant Psychologist

Dr. Doreen Virtue (yes, that is her real name) is a spiritual clairvoyant psychologist who holds B.A. M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Virtue is the author of 22 books on mind-body-spirit issues. Included in this list are such titles as: Healing with the Angels, Divine Guidance, Angel Therapy, The Lightworker's Way and The Yo-Yo Diet Syndrome.
Dr. Virtue is the founder and former director of WomanKind Psychiatric Hospital at Cumberland Hall Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. She was also an administrator at Woodside Women's Hospital in the San Francisco Bay Area. Both all-women psychiatric hospitals specialized in treating women's psychological issues. Dr. Virtue also directed three outpatient psychiatric centers, including an adolescent drug and alcohol abuse center.
As a child, Doreen was a natural clairvoyant, seeing and conversing with what many people call "invisible friends" (which are really angels and deceased loved ones). But this natural gift and ability was little understood by the young Doreen and her family, and was the cause of teasing by her friends. Consequently, Doreen learned to deny her abilities, effectively shutting them down before she was mature enough to fully appreciate them.
But on July 15, 1995, Doreen's personal life and her career, marked by exemplary but conventional success, would be irrevocably altered by an incident that is nothing short of miraculous. Doreen had been ignoring her angels' guidance to become a teacher of mind-body-spirit issues. So, when an angel warned Doreen that her car was going to be stolen on that fateful July afternoon, Doreen ignored him. After all, her habit of arguing with and ignoring the angels was deeply ingrained by then. Despite this, the angel did not abandon
Doreen in her most dire moment - as she was parking, two armed men, intent on a carjacking, brandished weapons and physically accosted the unsuspecting Doreen. The voice spoke to her again - it was loud, distinctly male and it instructed her to scream with all her might. This time she listened, she screamed, and her life was saved by passersby who became alarmed and sent her attackers running.
Dr. Virtue immediately began a daily rigorous practice of receiving and deciphering her Divine Guidance. Simultaneously, she was reexamining her spiritual beliefs, along with her Western psychological beliefs, the end result being twofold: Dr. Virtue was guided to look at psychology from a whole new perspective, and her natural clairvoyance rapidly returned with the same clarity and strength of her childhood experiences.
Dr. Virtue's practice then naturally evolved into "Angel Therapy," in which she combines her skills as a psychologist with her spiritual abilities. Dr. Virtue's belief is simple; everyone is born with some form or forms of psychic abilities - in other words, a sixth sense. This ability, or abilities - like all other God-given abilities, needs to be nurtured and exercised to maximize it's strengths. Dr. Virtue cites over 300 scientific studies from Harvard, Cornell, and other leading universities supporting her beliefs in people's natural psychic abilities and in the power of prayer in healing.
Dr. Virtue currently lectures and gives experiential workshops on spiritual psychological issues worldwide. Doreen's topics include: angel therapy, angel communication, spiritual healing, mediumship, reincarnation, channeling, and other spiritual topics.
