Enhance Your Love Life
with Feng Shui
|

Feng Shui is an ancient earth science that we can use to enhance our lives. There are many, many methods and formulas that I can advise for various situations. There are remedies to help improve or protect health, to deepen better communication between a couple, to increase career opportunities, to calm an unruly child, and much more.
So many of us wish for true love in our lives. While most people contact me for a feng shui or Chinese astrology consultation with the objective of improving their finances, one of the top reasons a client phones me is to learn how to attract more love into his or her life. Of course we wish for good health, a flourishing career and comfortable finances. However, it can be more difficult to enjoy all of these good things if we have no one special with whom to share them.
As you might expect, there are feng shui methods to help attract romance. One of the easiest is called the “Peach Blossom” remedy.
The peach tree is one of the first trees to blossom in China in spring. Fragile and short-lived, peach blossoms are, ironically, a symbol of longevity. Peach blossoms are especially popular at the Chinese New Year. People bring them home and put them in water in the oldest and best porcelain vase the family owns for, they believe, the older the vase, the longer the flowers will bloom. It is believed that your love relationship will be especially lucky if you meet your beloved under a blossoming peach tree.
“Peach Blossoms” in Chinese metaphysics refers to sexual magnetism and attracting romantic partners. Like peach blossoms, romance can be quite fragile.
Here are the steps to enhancing your qi with Peach Blossom energy:
Step 1
1. First you need to determine your Peach Blossom animal.
2. In the following table, each row contains the birth year, the day when Chinese Solar New Year began, the exact time the New Year commenced, and the animal associated with that year.
3. If you were born in early February during an artificially changed time period such as War Time, subtract 1 hour from your birth time. For example, if you were born at 6:00 am War Time, you will subtract 1 hour to be born at 5:00 am.
4. Find the row with your birth year. Be sure that you were born after the date and time when the Chinese New Year began; if not, go to the previous year. For example, if you were born on February 5, 1964 at 3:30 am, your animal is Dragon. If you were born before 3:05 am, it will be Rabbit, from the previous year.

Step 2
Next you need to determine the Peach Blossom compass direction associated with your birth year animal. In Feng Shui, the four cardinal directions North, East, South and West are associated with Peach Blossoms and romance. Each direction equals 45° but, for better precision, you will use the inner 15° rather than the entire 45°direction.
For example, if your animal is Rat, then West is your personal Peach Blossom direction.
Step 3
Now you need to find your peach blossom direction within your home. Using a luopan (Chinese geomancy compass) or a high quality compass, stand outside facing your home and determine where your peach blossom direction is. Is it in your living room? Your bedroom?
For best results, it helps if you have a to-scale floorplan of your home to help you find your exact Peach Blossom direction.
Step 4
Now it’s time to enhance your Peach Blossom direction. You do this by placing fresh flowers in a vase, both of a specific color. Look at the table below to determine your remedy.

For example, if your Peach Blossom direction is North, you would place 1 blue or white flower in a blue, black, white or metal vase in the northernmost area of your home.
What we are activating is a classic Feng Shui romance combination. The number of flowers and their color are particular to each direction, and the vase color helps support the combination. While some feng shui masters emphasize the number of flowers you need, I personally have not found it to matter. But using the correct number might help speed up your results!
Helpful Hints
* You must use fresh flowers and water to attract a healthier relationship. Change the water and trim the ends of flower stems daily to extend their lives.
* The type of flower does not matter, just the color.
* Your Peach Blossom remedy helps enhance your qi to attract others to you, thus widening the pool of possible lovers. But it is your responsibility to get out there and be more sociable - and findable! If you only go to work and back home every day, you are severely limiting your chances of finding love.
* No compass is 100% precise. If you find you don’t start attracting people within a week or two, try moving the vase over a foot or two to the left, then to the right. It does usually take a little moving around of the vase and flowers for you to find the right spot.
* Open vases or other containers can also be placed in your Peach Blossom direction to enhance the qi.
* There is no quality assurance about the kind of men or women you will attract, and you may attract both men and women. It is up to you to make wise choices about anyone with whom you become involved. But you are always free to say no the point is that you are increasing the number of people you attract.
Precautions
* This is a very powerful remedy do not use this if you are married or in a committed relationship.
* Be very careful about outside water as well. If you are married and install a pond or fountain in your Peach Blossom or your spouse’s Peach Blossom directions, you are asking for trouble.
* Likewise, be cautious of using outside water as you could even cause marital problems for your neighbors by inadvertently putting water in their Peach Blossom directions!
If Your Spouse is Having an Affair
1. Determine your spouse’s Peach Blossom direction and see if you have water or open containers in that direction. Remove any that you find. Ideally, you should have none at all around the house if your spouse is having an affair.
2. Place the correct remedy from the table below in the advised direction.

For example, if your spouse’s Peach Blossom direction is East, put 6-7 pebbles in a white, metal or yellow vase and place it in his or her Peach Blossom direction.
To Stop Your Own Peach Blossoms
You can also use the chart just above to determine how to stop your own peach blossoms.
I know you think it might be unlikely that a person would wish to stop his or her own romance energy. But there are times when it is helpful and necessary. I have had clients who admit to being so obsessed with sex that it is very difficult for them to concentrate on anything else, to their own detriment.
Another client wished to obtain a divorce from her husband. Sadly, he was mentally ill and refused any professional treatment. They had been separated for several years but he was unwilling to grant her a divorce despite her repeated requests. She applied the remedy to stop her own peach blossoms (since he did not live in her house). A few weeks later, he suddenly came to her house and told her he was willing to give her the divorce. Within this short period of the remedy’s placement, she was able to move on with her life.
This Peach Blossom remedy is one of the most satisfying that I recommend. I have many success stories from my clients. They often laugh at how quickly they receive the results. One lady who put in her remedy called me and said, “Barbara, the next day!!” It surprised her so much that she even removed the vase for a few weeks.
Remember that this remedy will work quickly and easily if you place the correct remedy in the correct place, and if you get out into the world so that people can find you. Of course, you want to make yourself as attractive in person and spirit as you can be in order to meet more people.
Additionally, it can take time to find the right person meant for you. But this remedy will help make people more aware of, more open and friendlier to you in order for romance to be able to fully bloom.
I wish True Love for you!
