Transformational Healing
through the Violet Flame!

Today: Through gratefulness to happiness!

by Eva Kettles
Dear Reader, Dear Writer!
Hello to all of you!

Before I sit down to write an article I always ask my guidance to give me the suitable subject for each month. Sometimes I have to wait for quite awhile before the title comes up and is given to me. Sometimes it doesn’t make any sense at first, “why this subject today?” But when I look at it in retrospect it always does.

I would like to share the following thought with you. I got this information in the mail from Germany and I don’t know if it is known here. (I can't verify for the correctness of the figures, but I intend to point out the overall idea)

The World and You:

If we reduce the whole human experience into a village of 100 citizens and consider the ratio of the entire world, our village would look like this:

57 Asians, 21 Europeans, 14 Americans (North and South) and 8 Africans – 52 women and 48 men – 70 colored and 30 white people – 70 non-Christians and 30 Christians – 89 heterosexuals and 11 homosexuals.

6 people possess 59 % of the entire wealth and all 6 people come from the United States.

80 people have insufficient living conditions, 70 people are illiterate, one person has a computer, and only one person has an academic title. 50 people suffer from malnutrition, one person will die, and two people will be born

If we look at the world from this perspective it becomes clear that our need for belonging, understanding, acceptance and education is so vitally important.

If you wake up healthy and not sick – you are more fortunate than 1 million other people who will not survive the coming week.

If you have never experienced the disaster of a war, never the loneliness of imprisonment, never the agonies of a torture or hunger than you are luckier than 500 million people on the planet.

If you can go to church without the fear of being threatened that somebody will capture you or kill you then you are luckier than hundreds of millions of people in the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator, you are dressed and you have a roof over your head and a bed to sleep then you are richer than 75 % of the world citizens.

If you have an account at the bank, a little bit of money in your wallet or a bit of change in a little box then you belong to the 8% of the richest men on earth.

If you read this – you are twice blessed, because first of all somebody thinks about you, secondly, you don’t belong to the 2 million people who can’t read….and you have a computer!

Many people are frustrated and unhappy in their life, feeling depressed, isolated and lonely. It is sad that with all our riches and all that we have seemingly isn’t able to fulfill us deeply.

Sometimes we forget to be aware of all the goodness in our own life. We forget to count our gifts and talents. If we were to shift our focus on the goodness in our life and train our happiness rather than our frustration – our mood and our feelings would shift also. I deeply believe happiness can be trained. It takes a lot of concentration and also commitment. Every person has choices especially the choice of how we want to feel about our experiences in life. I am aware that not every situation in life is pleasant and easy to handle and I am also aware that every person has a very individual approach of how to cope with unpleasant situations. Some of us get really upset, some of us become paralyzed and numb, some of us get really angry or blame other people or circumstances. Very few of us are grateful for whatever happens and very few of us bless any situation in their life. We judge the situation, we feel what happened is not right, it is unfair or whatever. Through this judgment we move our self into the feelings just described. Seldom are we able to relax into what is, to accept and surrender. It seems so difficult. We feel the need to react, to do something! I agree, but what choices do we have? We can react by becoming calm and absolutely present, very quiet and ask ourselves some questions:

What do I really feel right this second?

Your answer might be: I am really angry, really frustrated, embarrassed, humiliated, sad, devastated, ruined, shut down, disconnected, self pity, hurt or in pain. The list could go on and on. We have a million feelings!

Where does my feeling really come from?

Did the feeling appear through what just happened or was it there already and needed to be expressed?

What do I really need right this second to make me feel better?

Is it really the chocolate or the rage explosion or the demolition of the whole house? May be it is stillness, crying, a touch, conversation, singing or a prayer? In truth it is the connectedness that we miss, the inner knowingness that everything is all right even if it doesn’t seem like it. To really connect again it is easier when we center ourselves through the choices we can make. Every person has had a difficult time in their lives, and if I ask those people how many of them have made it through their difficult time, I am sure all of them will raise their hand. What does that mean? Doesn’t it mean that every problem carries the solution within and that we can almost always rely on finding the solution? Or perhaps the solution finds us. This tells me that all our fears and worries in those moments are not really necessary. Some of us might think they are – that’s fine too.

Some choices that we make bring us deeper into misery and others can stop the misery. Naturally we are not aware of these choices in the moments that we need this awareness. A part of us just wants to blow up, just wants to hurt back – but generally we make it worse. After we blew up, we feel very sorry and we eventually see that it was not really necessary.

Isn’t some of it just a way of how we know to react, because of our parents, our surroundings and just the way we have learned to handle our problems? Don’t you agree that if we have learned it one way that we also can learn something else, maybe more helpful?

Unlearn what you have done up to now! Start asking yourself the 3 questions from above when you have to handle a bad day. Choose self examination rather than an explosion. Be with yourself and go within.

Then start listening to yourself. Note how much you criticize, how little you might point out positive things during your day, how little you praise and compliment others or yourself. Note how little you count your blessings or gifts. Note Nature, note your animals, note your husband’s or wife’s qualities, your children’s smiles. See the riches of the world and learn to appreciate more than you do.

A very good way is to write down at least 5 things that you are grateful for each day. It helps you to shift your awareness to all those wonderful things and you will search more for them during the day and soon your consciousness will lighten up and reassess what is already within you. You have all the happiness and all the fulfillment within you – you just have to let go of all your worries and fears and learn how to see what you have and what you really are.

This article is only for those of you who really want to change, who feel trapped in their reactions and already know deep within that there is another way. I don’t think that anybody needs to do anything they don’t want or don’t feel ready for. Everything is like it should be until you don’t feel that it should be this way anymore. I am saying this, because I don’t want to come across like I want to change people’s reactions or even judge them. I myself feel the need to blow up once in a while and in this particular moment I don’t feel I could change that. But some other times I suddenly feel that I am able to stop for a moment and to breathe deeply before I do anything. And then I realize there is another possibility for me – and this is the moment where the shift happens and where it is also right for me in my own timing and divine plan. I want you to love yourself even if you can’t follow all those steps the next time your life challenges you. Simply stay in love with whatever you do, that is the best choice you can make.

I am grateful for you - thank you for being a part of my life!

Blessings - Eva

Eva Kettles,
Spiritual Channel & Healer

Eva Kettles is a spiritual channel, and guide who offers a sensitive, confidential, non-intrusive, results-oriented approach of clearing the pathway to becoming your True Self….consciously uncovering your Divine Essence.

Mrs. Kettles acts as a “loving detective” to give you clear guidance to your life questions. Working with the healing energy of the Violet Flame, Eva will transform your blocks in all the dimensions that make up your entire being so you can live according to your divine plan and purpose. Release deep seated fears, thought patterns and beliefs that keep you from expressing your authentic self.

Through a process of forgiveness and with the loving presence and help of our spirit guides, Eva enables healing to take place in mind, body, heart and soul. Eva offers individual guidance, fertility counseling, premarital guidance, couples coaching, space clearing and prayer/blessings.

Eva was born and raised in Germany. After finishing business school in Switzerland she discovered her ‘real’ passion for the eternal questions of Life that everybody has, but to which few people discover the answers.

To that end, she decided to become a holistic practitioner. During this education she got a wide background in all available alternative therapy disciplines.

Towards the end of her studies she decided to specialize in Bio-photonic Light Therapy (by Darbic, Dr. Acquillera, France), Frequency/Electrotherapy (Megawave 150), Color puncture, Regenaplex Cellular Therapy (Switzerland), Karma work, Hypnosis and Forgiveness work and opened her own practice first in Munich, than another one in Lucerne, Switzerland. Later, she established a healthy practice in New York City before moving to Ojai, California in March of 2004.

Eva was the protégé of Dr. Gutow in Germany. . He dedicated his whole life to finding out the reasons behind all illnesses. He took into account food, drinks, toxic surroundings or materials, homeopathic remedies in too high frequencies, astral positions, divine paths, karmic constellations, spells, entities and energies that block our good to come forth.

Dr. Gutow could access the highest self or spiritual guidance of each person and discovered that Eva had the ability to do the same work that he was doing. Using the analytical test that was developed by Dr. Gutow, Eva could immediately find out which therapy would work for which client. She explains: “It is like a key and a lock. We have to find the right key to unlock our good. Some keys work, some don’t!”

Having been blessed with many teachers, including Nadeen Shatyam , she learned that once you trust your inner voice you become connected to the universal truth and you do not need to look outside of yourself.

Everything is within us when we finally learn to believe it. Her goal is to help you to find and establish that trust in yourself.
Having walked the path to self return, she knows how to guide others.
