Creating Bridges: Spirituality & Philosophy:
Blending Human and Divine Love

Belief is human,
knowing is Divine

by Ornesha De Paoli
We’ve trained ourselves to live amongst belief systems that we’ve created. Beliefs are actual structures of energy that make up a web surrounding everything, everywhere in our existence. There are conscious and unconscious beliefs that feed the web of existence and hold the structure of our lives together. These belief systems are deeply embedded into our core, which produces our reality. Our reality is produced mainly through sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch. The senses.

A glass of water has an energetic structure around it that we can see, taste and touch as a glass of water. We have created and labeled that particular structure of belief “a glass of water” and we validate it every time we see a glass of water, taste the water it or touch it. This is a conscious belief that we know we give energy to.

Another type of structured belief is more sub-conscious. It doesn’t have a physical structure to it, but gets validated just as often as the conscious one. This type of belief is a core belief, and acts as a deeper motivator to our more spontaneous actions. A belief such as separation is at the core of the web that surrounds our existence. It’s an invisible belief that the senses validate each and every moment.

We believe that we are separate beings, because we see it, hear it, smell it, taste it, and touch it in the separateness that we appear to be. We know its separation, in that all of these things are coming (seemingly) from outside of us, so that we can perceive them through the senses. If they are coming from outside of us, they must therefore, appear separate.

Along with the belief that we are separate, also comes the belief that we have to survive somehow. Thus, there is the belief that we have to control the elements around us to survive. Then, comes the belief that we exchange energies of all kinds because we are separate and therefore must control our survival through exchange. Add to this the belief system that says we are human, and this automatically brings in the belief in suffering.

Among all of these core belief systems that we have constructed, are many more beliefs built in, around, and among the core ones. They are all well structured and well reinforced, have been very nearly impenetrable, and are commonly energized by fear.

Fear and desire are the main motivators that will keep people from moving forward, and then push them forward. This is the push and pull of duality. They were designed by us as such an intensive structure that we believe them, and take for granted that we have no other choice. But because this reality is totally and absolutely based on duality, there will automatically be the opposite.

We carry within us a deep belief that says that we are more than just human. It is at the other end of the belief system that says that we are not. This has us humans asking questions as to WHO we really are, and in all honesty, has been just the other half of the dual existence we live in. By listening to the belief systems that we live by, we forget that we do have a choice. It may just be the belief that says we don’t.

For every positive there will be a negative, for every up there is a down, for every good there is a bad, and so by living the above beliefs, we will automatically, on some level, also be living the opposite, which is freedom. It is just difficult to live freedom in human bodies while our beliefs are telling us that we are not free.

So we can see that there are beliefs that keep us safe, show us how to survive, control our environment, cause an exchange, keep us separate, allow us to suffer, and all along tell us that we are human. Humanity can now see this, and so it uses the only tools it knows. It fights against or hides what it understands that it doesn’t like.

At this moment, humanity also understands that to fight against anything, or to force anything into compliance will ONLY intensify the duality (duality feeding duality) instead of balancing it.

If you only feed the “light” in your reality, the dark will begin to suffocate within you. The suffocation of any part of you will cause a reaction somewhere, because the suffocating part will want to be acknowledged as SUFFOCATING! This brings up challenging things to be ignored! But all ignoring them does is suffocate them.

To balance and neutralize a belief system is to not suffocate it. It is to see it become clear and allow it to work with you. It is to see that the belief no longer affects you. It can’t affect you if there’s nothing for any energy to grab on to as it moves through you.

It would be very challenging if you were fighting and forcing a belief into compliance because you didn’t like it. You would be pushing and pulling it in one direction or another, by which creating more of it. Clearly seeing and fully accepting them for what they are neutralize them. They are completely accepted without judgment. By neutralizing beliefs, they are no longer re-validated. They are neutralized.

The mind is where the majority of the belief systems live, and the mind creates the emotions that affect the body. They, along with the senses, tell you that something appears to be real and is a part of that belief system. But beliefs are just like anything else, in that they are simply structured energy, as is your body, a rock, or a glass of water.

To see the beliefs clearly is to gain the understanding of what is being balanced. And since beliefs are so deeply structured into the web of energy that surrounds each and every item that contains energy, it’s best to stay as simply as possible when looking at them.

When coming across anything that appears to be complicated, remember that the more complicated something seems to be, the more structure that has been placed upon it. Divinity is simple. It’s clear.

Everything around you is energy. Energy is structured by positive and negative forces that work off of each other. When looking at any type of energy, the human mind will want to make it complicated because it can definitely appear to be that way.

But, by looking at belief systems clearly and simply, you remove all of the clutter that has been placed around them. Then, you can see that they are actually simple within themselves. Every single human belief has been created to have you believe in being human, karma, and death. They are not “bad”, and they have been necessary to create a world that keeps you coming back to it over and over just to understand self.

Understanding yourself and your beliefs is to understand how energy works, and will automatically have you understanding the rest of self.

The three main beliefs that are talked about today are separation, survival, and exchange. All three are very clearly core belief structures and intertwine with each other, which makes them rather interchangeable and necessary to each other. There are more beliefs, however, many more. They are like the tree of life in some ways. They grow from a base and branch out, and are all really about the same thing…the tree. There are just many different aspects to the tree.

The first one that is looked at is SEPARATION.

Separation says that each individual is separate from the other. There appears to be air in between each person. It says that each object is separate from the other. Each structure of energy is individual and contained in the particular web that surrounds it.

This same energy surrounds all structures. It’s positive and negative attributes coming together to create your body, the rock, air, and galaxies; it’s all energy. It is matter that is encased within energetic structures that have specific attributes, and these specific energy attributes are what cause things to appear to be different from each other.

We have air all around us yet do not think of air as being an encased energy structure because we can’t see it. Nonetheless, whether it is loosely contained or tightly contained, it is still energy structure appearing to be something.

The rock has different energetic attributes than air does, but it’s still just energy that has been created. It is created from potential, which is not measurable and can’t be contained because it has no energy until the creator places positive or negative attributes to it and gives it a name. The name may be rock, cup, body, plant, air, water, etc.

Human consciousness creates, and then places names on individual energy structures and calls them separate. It believes in separation and does not remember that it is all just energy. It is all the same “stuff” that makes up everything. Human consciousness wants to see all parts of self, and has had to see them as separate to fully understand what Self is.

The separation from the One self into billions of pieces of self was done with great love. Love is the core essence that sparks creation from neutral potential. It is, and is in everything that you have ever created. It has been done so with a love that is so simple and yet so profound as to even fool the Creator, You.

The belief of separation is an important step in seeing that you’re not at all separate to begin with…You just appear to be to see all the parts and pieces of self.

With this understanding, it becomes clear that there really is no separation for as far out as you can go into the universes. There is no separation (other than through your beliefs) between you and me. Everything that you see or sense to be separate from you is only appearing to be that way for you to see self.

If you believe in separation you will feel certain things. Generally, they will be things like:

The fear of being alone

The dislike of another’s perspective

Insecurities within self

And, victim to another

Which brings in the next one: SURVIVAL.

This one is definitely a powerful belief of the human consciousness. Survival brings in the fear of “death”.

Because the continued belief in separation, the understanding that energy continues on forever and can never end has been forgotten. The human body is a non-permanent structure designed to cycle. The energy itself is designed to cycle. It is a rental. The belief structures are set up to continue replaying (karma) your specific attribute (your soul) of the One. This comes from the belief in survival.

Survival says that there are needs to be met. You need to have a house to live in, food to eat, and clothes to wear. While these are most necessary for survival, the perspective that we tend to have is that these needs are met with fear. So, with the belief in survival, there automatically arises the emotion of the fear of not surviving.

With survival, automatically comes suffering. Suffering will have you believing that you are merely human, and need to look to a Deity outside of yourself for assistance. It will have you look to others for all “outside” assistance because you are programmed to believe that there are others smarter than you and that you need them.

It will have you believe that to be human is to suffer and die, only to go to another “energy structure” called heaven or hell. Suffering may be looked upon as being noble, but Source DOES NOT SUFFER. The Creator doesn’t have to suffer. It is a human consciousness belief, which takes you through a human life, and a human death.

Surviving and suffering also have a beauty in the reasons that they were created. It is the belief that there is a way to desire to move beyond human. It is the belief that there is a way to know that something more expanded exists; we just “thought” it was death and heaven. There is then a reason for faith and religion. There is a reason to bring people together to assist with the suffering and surviving. There is a reason to bring humans together to search for answers to self. There is a way to bring “self” together for a common purpose.

If you believe in survival and suffering you will probably:

Have a fear of death

Feel sorry for those involved in death

Have aches and pains as a sign of aging

Believe that you are more powerful when in a group

Be uncomfortable with change

Feel that you need outside assistance for anything

Which brings us to EXCHANGE.

As soon as there is the thought of separation, there then comes the uncomfortableness of not knowing self, and thinking there is a need to survive and suffer. To survive, it takes things outside of self, so there comes the belief of exchanging energy to get what is needed.

In duality, there is always one thing exchanging energy with another. It is the innate desire to become fulfilled and to feel as one. For “needs” to be met (the needs that survival gives us, and causes suffering if they are not) there must be a way to get them. The human consciousness is primarily supported in belief systems that are separation and survival based, thus, exchange becomes necessary.

Exchange holds the energy structure of equality and value. Equality takes place as a measurement system for something’s value. If you do not value self, it will be seen in the value of what you get in exchange for what you give.

Exchange takes place in ALL forms of existence if you believe in separation. There will always be a need to be filled, and since exchange is truly based in duality, it is understood that positive energy requires negative energy to even exist. This means there must be an exchange of energy to continue existence.

Exchange also says that humans “use” things instead of “sharing” the energy of self. When you “use” something, you generally “owe” for it. Exchange says that you use one thing to get another. Or, after you get one thing, you use it, and then get another to fill the space. It says that one must give greatly in order to receive greatly; that one must effort in order to receive equal value.

The beauty in exchange lies in the desire to be linked with others. It is a way to bring humanity together in a physical way (money) and in an energetic way (thought and feelings). It is a way to easily continue seeing consciousness grow and expand in bigger and bigger ways as the exchange medium expands, and visa versa.

If you believe in exchange, you will probably:

Feel upset if taken advantage of

Think that sex is necessary for fulfillment

Be afraid of viruses

Give in order to get

Have needs

Have debt

To truly move beyond living what appears to be the human experience, is to begin truly and deeply seeing and knowing the human experience. The human experience is based upon the beliefs that we have and the controls those beliefs have upon us. Besides, how can anyone move beyond what is not completely understood and known? You must KNOW what you are moving beyond in order to KNOW what is beyond it.

Begin observing yourself and your beliefs, and do so without the judgments you’ve become accustomed to. You may be surprised at what you do see!

Belief is human. Knowing is Divine.

Every moment for the past twenty years has been a spiritual practice for me. The practice, however, has taken me into the world of the living, breathing human. Without ever (in this lifetime) having a group or affiliation to look to for answers, it became apparent a long time ago, that the answers would come from me.

My life has been artistically constructed to observe, without judgment, the dual nature of humanity’s existence, and in that, locate the steps to move beyond it. Thus, I have become a “poster child” of navigating through the web of the human belief systems.

In 2004, I consciously set out to unravel each system while at the same time, considering how rapidly a human body could endure the balancing and neutralizing of all beliefs and controls we’ve placed upon ourselves.

Working in conjunction with, and through the assistance of many Guides and Ascended Masters, it has become apparent that the opportunity of living in Ascension while living as a Human has come. The result comes in creating from a new heart center that is found in Divine Neutrality.

Divine Neutrality is where the concept of Ascension lies. It is in the complete understanding of Self without the safety net of fears, judgments, or doubts. It is where the human body no longer holds the limitations of the human condition and becomes free to blend with Divinity. It is where all pieces of self are brought back in, honored, and freed to form The One.

The O.A.R. Method has been developed to take us through these belief systems in a very systematic way in order to neutralize and balance them. In the neutralization of the human experience, the body will no longer hold or attach itself to being "just" human, and in the process, move beyond duality itself into enlightenment.
