Competing is for many a life force that keeps them focused on a goal. Like anything in life we can focus on a positive goal or focus our intention on a negative goal.
Many years ago I lived in Santorini, a little island in Greece. One of my experiences there was about negative competition. Every tourist bound business depends on the money that the tourism brings in each season. Everyone focuses on the season’s goal to make more money than their neighbor businesses and everybody keeps a close eye on what the preparations of each business bring in changes, before the season even starts. Some give their restaurant or club a new look or they change the menus or DJ’s and everyone around is just checking everyone else out. Then, when the season starts they fight for every passing tourist by offering the same for less and concentrating their energy on how to ruin the neighbor’s success instead of focusing on what their own goals are. It was a pretty sad thing to watch, since there are so many other ways how to deal with circumstances like this.
If we focus on others, their achievements and what they have and do – then we miss the point. Our growing pain and envy eats us up from the inside out and we become calculating and self centered. The only way someone - for instance on that island - could face their own value and worth was by destroying someone else’s success. If the people in Santorini wouldn’t have done that, they would have felt less than, not good enough, inadequate and imperfect.
But did the ruining game really make them feel good about themselves? I doubt it and I could see the anger and the inner war going on in everybody’s face. It was a very sad environment and after 3 seasons I had to leave.
Real success is built by supporting someone else in manifesting their goals. We can see this more clearly in sports. The team effort, the team spirit is simply giving our teammates wings when they need it. We feel lifted and we can go beyond our own idea or our own limits. Competition is healthy because it is creating the need to want to achieve something and we are setting goals for ourselves or for our teams.
Everyone comes with a full set of cards. It might not always look like a perfect winning set of cards but as you know about Poker – everything is possible even with a set of cards that has not as much potential at first. It all depends on the matching cards that come into play.
When I am looking at that, I see my own microcosm that is like it’s own little puzzle, it has a shape, many colors and it can be turned in every direction even up-side down. But then there is another big puzzle, the macrocosm, with many holes in it, where I need to find my place. These holes have also shapes and colors and different sizes and so on and all we need to find out in this life-time is where do we really fit?? So often we try to make it fit. We try to lose weight to fit this hole we have chosen for our puzzle piece and we try to be different, we fake it, we change our personality, our character, our being just to make it work. And we completely forget to look beyond the possibility we have chosen for us at first sight. We got stuck in believing that the hole we have picked out, that we want to fit – has to be the one – the only one that makes us happy, that gives us what we are looking for and we can’t let go and we can’t believe in our own perfect creation.
We all have everything to make our lives complete. We need to trust that our personality, our being was created for an ideal fit, where we do not need to change anything in order to fit. It is about being authentic and real – and by being real and authentic we connect each of our parts with the right counterparts.
If we are not authentic and real we feel always a mismatch, life seems unhappy, unreliable and unfair. Just imagine this big universal puzzle – the puzzle around the puzzle - awaiting you to really become authentic so that you can smoothly fit into it – the moment you become the real you. This is when life enters you - on every level a fit. Life matches your being and the other way around. You don’t try anymore, you just are and you believe in this higher order, this perfection and this is all that you need to trust. This is all you need to know. No adapting, no reshaping, no struggle to fit in – you fall into place – nothing but effortlessness is at work and your dream circumstances arise and match up your type.
We all need to stay open and available for opportunities and changes that happen all by themselves. Every moment a message is coming to us and we need to listen and see it’s potential. It’s all there.
If we think we know what we want, what is the right thing to do – we can limit ourselves and there might be much more waiting for us. By focusing on the big picture, seeing ourselves within this perfect matching big universal puzzle, we create a wonderful flow of trust that works for us. Everything that is right for us will come into our lives just by holding that space for it.
Our ideas, our cultural beliefs create a pre-set idea and a shape, a puzzle shape that is not us and we try to match the one around us and we wonder why we don’t fit! Hold on!
You don’t need to find a match – the match finds you when you simply let go of all that trying, faking and changing into something that you are not.
Relax and be naturally you. Be honest and share your truth and the truth will always attract truth and match you up with the right counterparts on all levels of your life. The perfect partner will come your way, the perfect business will arise, you will have the friends that match you and you will have the home of your dreams, if you simply connect with the energy field that is really only waiting for you to dock on and when you stop trying to take the place of someone else. Whatever is missing in your life – it will find you.
Believe it and it is your reality.

Eva was born and raised in Germany. After finishing business school in Switzerland she discovered her ‘real’ passion for the eternal questions of Life that everybody has, but to which few people discover the answers.
To that end, she decided to become a holistic practitioner. During this education she got a wide background in all available alternative therapy disciplines.
Towards the end of her studies she decided to specialize in Bio-photonic Light Therapy (by Darbic, Dr. Acquillera, France), Frequency/Electrotherapy (Megawave 150), Color puncture, Regenaplex Cellular Therapy (Switzerland), Karma work, Hypnosis and Forgiveness work and opened her own practice first in Munich, than another one in Lucerne, Switzerland. Later, she established a healthy practice in New York City before moving to Ojai, California in March of 2004.
Eva was the protégé of Dr. Gutow in Germany. . He dedicated his whole life to finding out the reasons behind all illnesses. He took into account food, drinks, toxic surroundings or materials, homeopathic remedies in too high frequencies, astral positions, divine paths, karmic constellations, spells, entities and energies that block our good to come forth.
Dr. Gutow could access the highest self or spiritual guidance of each person and discovered that Eva had the ability to do the same work that he was doing. Using the analytical test that was developed by Dr. Gutow, Eva could immediately find out which therapy would work for which client. She explains: “It is like a key and a lock. We have to find the right key to unlock our good. Some keys work, some don’t!”
Having been blessed with many teachers, including Nadeen Shatyam , she learned that once you trust your inner voice you become connected to the universal truth and you do not need to look outside of yourself.
Everything is within us when we finally learn to believe it. Her goal is to help you to find and establish that trust in yourself. Having walked the path to self return, she knows how to guide others.
