With yet another new year upon us many may be thinking of their goals and aspirations for the year ahead. Many people may be thinking of material goals like losing weight, improvingtheir carreer,quiting junk food etc.But what would happen if we all collectively resolved to love unconditionally?
Imagine if everyone decided not to worry about the little irritating things that people do. Imagine if everyone decided to smile at the people the met while waiting at the bus stop.
Imagine if everyonetook two seconds to admire the beauty of nature. What if parents took five or ten minutes out of their day to sit with each of their children and really listen to them as thought they were ten, or fifteen or two years old again?
Would the world be a hapier place? You bet it would! Society has changed so much ofver the past few decades. We no longer have time for love.
Shops are open around the clock. This reduces the amount of quality time people spend together in the evening.
Kids don't sit in the gym anymore and sing Christmas carols for an hour for the entire month of December. This turns Christmas into a purely material celebration. We have forgottento celbrate the beauty of creation.
The creation of nature, the creation of our beautiful children.
We are living in a high speed race track and we have totally forgotten how to enjoy life. Life is no more because there is little love. Let us all resolve to love this New Year and see what happens!!
