It is a time of enjoying the warmth of the sun and empowering all of the aspects of self, all of the seeds that we have planted in the spring. It is a time of reaping and a time of gathering and it is a time of vision.
Vision is the card that the Oracle gave us for this month. Vision is the 41st card in the Power Deck. It is an East and a Gold card. There are times when you will have less vision and because of that, dimness. You will become unbalanced in your seeing. You will see everything; every stone, every machine, every tree as dead rather than alive. As your vision grows, sit still within the city and begin to develop and to see that stones and plants and even machines are alive. Even the dead trees have passed through the gateway in the west. Their spirit carries the dreaming shield.
Begin to see the life within every object. Begin to see the sacredness in things; their energy, their colors, their luminous form, their shadow being. Then you will become strong. See power all around you. It is you. You have developed true vision.
The definition of this card, which is separate from this reading, but it is still very very much part of the landscape of this card is: the painting is entitled City of Light. It is about knowledge, about the juxtaposition of current symbols that live within us all. On this card is a perfected being representing the East direction, with thunderbolts in both hands symbolizing the power of God within each of us. This being stands tall in centeredness as we all strive to do.
Do not be distracted by the surrounding buildings but rather stay centered in your vision of sacredness and rise above the ordinary pain of life. So, in other words there are so many things that can distract us from our power; that bleed away our energy of creativity and keep us from manifesting in the world what we have chosen to do.
Summer is a time of lying back on the sand, placing yourself in the arms of mother earth, and giving yourself a chance to go within. Going within means that you dig deeply into the fertile ground of self. However digging deeply doesn't mean that you go away from your own heart and soul. It means that you get closer to it. So, that means also that things become more simple, not more confusing. It is the outside layer, the perimeter of our lives, that makes us feel confused at times and scattered because of all the powerful energetic forces that cross our path day in and day out.
This is a time to watch all of that energy flying around in its chaos. Sit in your sacred witness. Sit in your vision. Be still. Watch the sun. Feel the warmth on your body and heal yourself. Move into a place of joy. Joy is the only aspect of humanity that is going to heal war and the consciousness that creates war.
Remember this as you read this for this message. The message makes you realize your need to what? I'd like you to answer that. What does it make me realize that I need to do or need to feel. What do you need to work on most in the area of vision? Are you out of balance? So you ask yourself: Am I out of balance in the area of vision? Am I too involved with the physical world to be able to see my truth?

Great spirit, mother earth, powers of the four directions, ancestors and all the great beings of light to guide us to guide us and share their wisdom with us at this time. Help me to see clearly my vision. Help me to know whether my vision is true or simply a result of my conditioned past. Let me stay, great spirit, in the moment, in the presence of your radiance and wisdom forever.
