Just because a Reader has seen your possible future through the cards does that mean it will come true? Maybe, maybe not. What determines the future? Sitting back and waiting is probably not the way. As an experienced Reader of human nature, I can tell you that some people are lazy and just want to know that it will all be fine without doing anything extra.
So, what's the secret to making predictions come true? Magic! Yes, magic. The word magic is derived from the root word, "mag," which originally means "power." Magic is the power to make something happen, to pull a rabbit out of a hat, or more importantly, to manifest your visions and dreams.
We all have the magic, the ability to create and produce an intention. In fact, every day we do magic. We have a goal, like making breakfast or driving to work, and we get it done. That's "everyday magic." We tend to disregard this power, for it's so common, and yet, from a tree or a cat's point of view, this is truly miraculous and magical!
But how can I do the big things like find my soul mate or make a fortune or lose a ton of weight? By applying the very same magical principles that we use to create an email or make dinner.
What are these principles for making magic? The Tarot, in fact, provides them. More than a prediction tool, I confess that Tarot is really a "map." It gives you the formulas for achieving anything in life, whether you want to be a better person, lover, or entrepreneur. The symbols in the Cards and the organization of a Deck provide the way.
Most people ask the cards, "What's going to happen?" In truth, the tarot is more accurately responsive to the question of, "How to make it happen?" What's going to happen, again I confess, "I don't know." But how to realize your desires, yes, I can help you make your way.
So, what is the map to magic? The secret to the Tarot treasure map is to correspond the numbers of the Minor Arcana Suit cards with the Major Archetype cards. I admit that sometimes even tarot Readers don't know the importance of this truth. The Aces, which have the value of number One, thus relate as qualities to the number One Major card, Magician. Follow the Aces for your magic!
A look at the Voyager Tarot Aces show Illumination (Ace of Wands), Ecstasy (Ace of Cups), Brilliance (Ace of Crystals), and Success (Ace of Worlds). Thus, to manifest anything in your life, perform the Aces. Be an Ace.
Applying Illumination, visualize in your mind's eye getting you want. As you see your desired future, feel in your Ecstatic, passionate heart the motivating emotions you have for making that future come true. Affirm belief in yourself that you have the Brilliance, the know-how, wisdom, and smarts to fulfill the vision. Finally, to be a Success, take action, do something to materialize your vision, feelings and intelligence.
We all follow this magic map all of the time. Getting to the supermarket, you saw yourself driving there, you felt that you wanted to, you knew that you knew how to get there, and you took action as you got in the car and drove. Arriving at the market, you are an Ace, a Magician!
Now for the more difficult "big magic" aspirations in life, like to find the great job, or perfect partner, or super house, follow the magic principles. Just doing it once will probably not get all of what you want. The secret is to keep at it! Treat the magic map as a ritualistic action plan. Again and again, see and feel and believe in what you want and take another new action step. The mantra is, "See it, Feel it, Believe, Do it." That is how prophecies are fulfilled.
This "wholistic" formula is easy, but it takes repetition and perseverance. Not a pill or silver bullet, the magic map requires commitment. Fulfilling your desired prophecies is like a "spiritual practice," a kind of life yoga for stretching yourself until the goal is reached. Set aside a small amount of time every day and go through the magic map as a kind of meditation. Remember though, do something, take a step, get off the couch and into action. Steps of action don't have to be big. Better to take baby steps, again and again, there is a gain and a gain.
For those of you who have read this far, here is the secret of secrets of magic and manifestation. So far, we have ignored the Magician card itself. But look at the Magician, above his head (at least in the Voyager Tarot) there is the universe, for the Magician is a messenger, a medium for the universe to come through. So, be a channel. Invoke the spirit, the gods and goddesses, medicine animals, the universe as your allies to help you with the power to realize your desires. You can make this into a prayer, an invocation, a chant, but ask for help. We can't do it alone. Life is a co-creative, collaborative act. So invoke the outside powers as you see, feel, believe and do it!
Does all this guarantee success? No, but I do know that you are giving yourself the greatest opportunity for achievement. And the most amazing things happen on the way to realizing your dreams. Life often happens in ways not foreseen. Know that effort is always rewarded.
I confess that I can't tell you the future, but with the tarot I can surely show you how. It's not fortune telling, but "fortune creation." Make it so.
