“One day you will remember the Great Dream, and the way will become known to you. You entered into life through the veil of the Dream, because your reason for being here must be kept secret from you until you find your way home. You don’t know who you are, but one fine day you will remember. It is like creation looking for itself. You are in oneness with all life, though you are not aware of it. You will waken from this Dream. Let the Great Mother rest within your spirit. She is the universe. She is the womb of all life. She is the light that shines from your eyes, illuminating your daily dreams. The possibilities you dream of will become your reality.”

So often we don’t take the time to celebrate our lives and our accomplishments. We look outside of ourselves for everything, when what we need is right in front of us because we have chosen it to be there.
As the summer progresses, sit in enjoyment on a warm evening and contemplate all that you have planted for the year. Really look at the many things that you have done and that you are doing right now. Your garden is much fuller and more beautiful than you realize. How often do you stop to appreciate it? Sit with your life as it is right at this moment and appreciate who you are and the many things that you are doing. Don’t take one single expression of yourself for granted.
Then take some time to see what is necessary for you to focus on in order to bring your life more in line with your dream for your life. See the illusions that claim your attention to distract you from your truth, from what your body mind is trying to tell you about your sacred dream. For most of us, those illusions are rarely far from our conscious awareness. See them for what they are, distractions created by your pain body and your ego mind. The ego mind is terrified that when you awaken to your own dream for life, it will lose control. But what is this “terrifying” thing that will happen when the ego mind loses control over you? You will remember who you are and your reason for being here, and then you can begin to find your way home to the Great Dream for your life.
So go back to looking at the beauty of your garden. What is in front of you that you would like to keep? What is really important for you to focus on right now, and what are you ready to discard? As you wander through your sacred garden, what needs pruning and weeding, and what needs cultivating and reaping?
The time is now for you to take your power and claim your own dream for your life.

Great Spirit,
We live on this beautiful Mother Earth, and yet so often we are unaware of her. We take for granted her great powers and the gifts she gives us every single day. When we do this, we move away from the Great Dream that she holds for all of life.
Great Mother, as we see you at the heart of our world, we give thanks to you for our life force and the gifts of our physical being. With these gifts of life, you present us with the mirrors of existence that elevate our soul toward the highest light.
Great Mother, help us on our journey with you. Give us the power to seek. Help us to find joy and courage as we navigate through the dense fog of confusion and unawareness. Help us, Great Mother, to understand your needs and what it takes to heal your precious body. In our commitment to you, we make a commitment to ourselves, to our own enlightenment, to our own process of forgiveness and wisdom. In our commitment to you, we make a commitment to moving ahead in our lives with conscious awareness, with one foot firmly planted in the world of the physical and one foot in the world of spirit.
