Many times the thought of becoming a parent can fill one with anxiety. It is a strange thing. In the first 20-30 years of our journey towards adulthood many people are very cautious of becoming pregnant and thus facing the responsibilities of parenthood. Perhaps one tries to do everything possible to keep from having the experience of becoming a parent in a time where we feel we are not ready for it. It is hard to say when we are ready in most cases. Are we ever ready? Can we ever be ready for what is coming?
Most of us are afraid of the changes that take place in our life-styles, the commitment we have to make. It is a very long commitment, for the rest of our lives. Once we are a parent we can never undo it. We are also afraid of the changes that happen within our own bodies, especially the women’s bodies that go through so many hormonal changes. How many times have you heard women say that they feel that they are becoming just like their Moms??? I know I have said it!
The more judgments we carry about our own Moms, the harder it gets for us to allow this transformation to simply occur. The men are struggling with questions around being able to support a family, to be there and to become a reliable part for the family.
Starting a family is certainly one of the biggest human transformations we could go through. But we are not alone. We have millions of examples of people who walked that path before us, good examples and maybe not so good ones. But one thing is clear, it’s done over and over again!
Once we decide to jump into the cold ocean and just do it, we might get caught up in completely different circumstances. Now that we feel ready, now that we want it, it suddenly is not such an easy undertaking anymore. What happened? Did we wait too long? For those of us who are older, our fertility has slowed down and we are struggling now to get pregnant. We feel like nothing is in our control anymore. It never was, but at least we thought we were in control.
We might think the one natural thing that everybody does all the time – we can’t do? What’s wrong with me/us? We are not able to do the most natural thing in the world – creating life – and that makes us feel really helpless and somewhat unworthy. In some cases we find out what is blocking us from our goal and we find solutions and our dream comes true. We conceive and we become pregnant.
For those who have not had this difficulty, I would like you to imagine what a beautiful feeling this is; having gone through all this and then feeling present with what is happening in that very moment, enjoying it all into the root of our being, blessing our luck, knowing how big of a blessing it really is, since we remember what we have gone through. Only because it wasn’t easy and because of the difficulties on the path we feel somewhat prepared for this major event and change. Would we feel this open and blessed, if it went all so easy? It is as if the baby wants us to really define ourselves, to be sure, 100% of what it really is that we want to choose. If we keep going and trying and not giving up, it seems as if we send out clear signs to the universe that we mean what we say, cause we act upon what we feel.
But what is with all those candidates that don’t know why they don’t conceive, why they can’t make it happen??? How do they feel? What support and help can we offer all those couples who try every possible technique and fertilization process that is offered out there and still can’t make it happen? Why is the universe not answering? Many couples really think they are not worthy enough to be blessed with a child. All their self worth is now depending on that one success. What does the universe want to help the couple see and recognize??? What can this be for a chance? It doesn’t all have to be a punishment! We mostly think in this kind of pattern: If we don’t receive exactly what we want, then we have done something wrong or we are simply not good enough. This is a perception that will always lead us to disappointment. This is an error of thought because the universe isn’t in charge of judging our path or our worthiness nor how we are doing what we are doing. It actually reacts only upon what we think or feel about ourselves!!! That is the big difficulty for us and very challenging. Since we are kind of stuck in this old thinking of “oh we are not good enough” and if we believe that we are only good enough if we get what we want, we set ourselves up for one failure after another. How can we break through this?
Only by accepting what is, without giving it a reason that lies in our behavior or in our own personality. We can always choose to see the bigger picture no matter how tragic our situation is and change our perception of it. In this case we could say: This is simply not my/our path, because your/our purpose lies behind a different door that leads down a different path. It is all about recognizing the signs that are given to us. We can keep on knocking against one door, which seems to stay closed and wait there for the rest of our lives, being mad and self destructive and unhappy or we can turn around and look ahead and find what is really calling us. Behind another door you might find a surprise a wonderful gift that suits you way better than becoming a parent. And this joy will ultimately bring you all the happiness that you considered finding with parenthood.
Love what is and change your thinking about what you consider as not working out in your life. This is true in every issue of our life, not just regarding parenthood. It all works out if you choose right! I don’t say – you shouldn’t try – a little effort makes us stronger and shows us how serious we mean what we are after….but everything has it’s own limit, find this limit and make sure that you invest your energy into the path that really is for you.
Be true to your Self which lies behind the door that opens – at least after a while of knocking!!!
I wish you all the surprises you can possibly allow yourself to have. Think about that! Allow yourself to have them!!!

To that end, she decided to become a holistic practitioner. During this education she got a wide background in all available alternative therapy disciplines.
Towards the end of her studies she decided to specialize in Bio-photonic Light Therapy (by Darbic, Dr. Acquillera, France), Frequency/Electrotherapy (Megawave 150), Color puncture, Regenaplex Cellular Therapy (Switzerland), Karma work, Hypnosis and Forgiveness work and opened her own practice first in Munich, than another one in Lucerne, Switzerland. Later, she established a healthy practice in New York City before moving to Ojai, California in March of 2004.
Eva was the protégé of Dr. Gutow in Germany. . He dedicated his whole life to finding out the reasons behind all illnesses. He took into account food, drinks, toxic surroundings or materials, homeopathic remedies in too high frequencies, astral positions, divine paths, karmic constellations, spells, entities and energies that block our good to come forth.
Dr. Gutow could access the highest self or spiritual guidance of each person and discovered that Eva had the ability to do the same work that he was doing. Using the analytical test that was developed by Dr. Gutow, Eva could immediately find out which therapy would work for which client. She explains: “It is like a key and a lock. We have to find the right key to unlock our good. Some keys work, some don’t!”
Having been blessed with many teachers, including Nadeen Shatyam , she learned that once you trust your inner voice you become connected to the universal truth and you do not need to look outside of yourself.
