Without Wisdom’s serendipity, things remain in pieces. Wisdom connects and enlivens. Sophia appears in nearly every culture and society. She is the leavening influence of life. Without Wisdom, life is dull...”
Sophia, Goddess of Wisdom (1991) by Caitlin Matthews
This brave new year of our Lord, 2007, will show us the end of many “New Age” trends that have prospered so strongly over the past 23 years. As the ages of man ebb and wane, so does the outer metaphysical influence moving throughout humanity come fully forward and then back into the inner sanctums of esoteric schools and arcane groups. As we continue to move through this current Age of Reformation, it is now up to each and every pilgrim to receive the secret doctrines of the ages and preserve and keep them for new generations to come. In other words, we are moving back to a time where esoteric knowledge is held by the few and even fewer will come forward to learn. That is not to say we did not move forward with great strides after 1966. Our actions in the last 9 years may well have helped tip this past election in favor of change and virtuous action.
Early in 2007 you may find that many who have held the spotlight, especially associated with churches or great moral movements, begin to give up their thrones to newer and younger men and women of action. The Mid-West will begin to show its strength through leadership and more political clout. The Torch of Freedom is slowly moving West but, has yet to fully cross the Mississippi River. Education will rise back to a place of importance later in the year with a competitive call that may arise from the Orient. This is the year of the Red and Yellow challenge. The nations of the East and of our own Native Peoples will come to the forefront challenging old ideas of power and showing us what real teamwork can do, culturally.
As we progress into late Winter, look for a great deal of unusual flooding and many great winds out West and along the Appalachian Divide. The process of cleansing begins a series of wake-up calls in the United States for those who are stuck in the ways of the past. Natural calamity will be mostly on the downtrend but, plane crashes, especially in April and May will bring tragedy and the loss of many children. Humanity will begin to notice the rise in brain-related disease and Northern Europe will come to the rescue of Africa in a more influential and successful way.
The trend for change may slow down as we approach late June but, there will be a decided threat from a terrorist attack in June to middle July which will have us feeling aghast and vulnerable, again. One national leader will fall to disgrace that we have not witnessed to date. The Midsummer change of seasons will hold a great charge of energy for those who are of the higher mind. It may be a time of miracles. Apparitions of the Virgin Mary and St. Joan may be seen across Europe in the summer. The shift of attention toward wisdom, tolerance and the true path of like-minded men and women on earth, will begin to be seen, as more women climb into the seats of Sophia. Wisdom is slowly but, surely making Her way back into the hearts of the children.. Whether you call them Indigo or Star Children, they are beginning to show themselves in greater numbers. August brings back a time of calm but, by September 7th, violence erupts again and the South Pacific is beset with new violence.
We are asked to remember that Jupiter and Saturn vie for our attention in critical areas of our Nation’s business this year. Do we choose wealth and growth or the proverbial brick wall and continued backtracking diplomatically, financially and respect-wise? More cars are on the road and lessons of increased oil prices make all of us put on blinders as we continue to improperly use the fuel of fire. We are light years from the search for the Promised Land and peace between nations. Look for a woman to start influencing change at the U.N.
September brings new hope and it may well come from international corporations investing in more hopeful endeavors abroad. Watch Central and South America begin to ripple with their own self-importance as they stretch and make their presence known again. By October, the United States is falling behind once more and, the presence of women helps give rise to more political change, albeit small. Watch out for a famous Jane to rise again!
The Fall is not noticeably bright this year but, new trends in abundance begin to ripple through Europe and the East in large numbers. The U.S. will continue to simmer, not boil, with financial influence. Gold, whether from the ground or encased in corn, has a good year of gain. There will be record rainfalls seen in the lower mid-west and south-east areas of the United States. As the ice melts in the North, precipitation will rise to meet the needs of all the nations.
As we swing through November down into the end of the year, the energy is low and unremarkable. Watch for British writers, a man in particular to take the world by storm in the fall. And, the best movies of the year will center around women and inanimate objects! One popular host on television will fail; right in front of America. Watch the beehive hairdo come back - in a slightly different form - than its predecessor of the ‘50's.
The year 2007, adds up to a 9 in Numerology. The number 9 is often seen as the end of a cycle. It may also reflect the end of an upward cycle of growth which may dip in preparation for a new road to emerge or new changes to come. Do not jump too quickly on untested bandwagons, as these next 5 years or so may see many nine-day wonders come forth, either in our leadership, arts or financial arenas. Be true to your innate sense of justice, mercy and need to expand in this new year. The lessons of tolerance, integration and diplomacy must rise to the forefront. This is the time for all people to stand back and observe before they plow ahead into uncharted waters without a plan of action. The white flag of surrender may surface for all Americans next June. Pray that we have the sense to be humble and helpful in our time of defeat.
May the Wisdom and Love of the Ages Secure You.
