What Do You Want From the Universe?

by Sonia Choquette, Ph.D.

The great secret to creating whatever you want is that you can simply command it into being. The secret is to be very clear about what you want. As Jesus taught, “Ask and you shall receive.” We do not create our dreams. It is the Divine Spirit flowing through us that creates them, and the way that process begins to happen is by simply asking.

When we can integrate all our senses and move them into alignment with our purpose, then Divine Spirit flows through us unobstructed like a beam of light, showing the way. We need to become clear vessels for this light to guide us. By that I mean to think, believe, imagine, commit, and choose to support your dream without distraction.

Most people are not clear channels of energy. They are so fragmented that their energy is refracted all over the place, scattered and weak. But by following each principle, you can realign these fragmented aspects of your energy, directing them instead toward the goal you desire. When you follow Divine Law your life begins to change. Your power increases. Your energy rises. Your confidence develops. You begin to feel the forces of God supporting you. The power you can now channel is substantial.

The best kept secret around is: “In the beginning was the word . . .”

That means that your own words are the bricks and mortar of the dreams you want to realize. Your words are the greatest power you have. The words you choose and use establish the life you experience. The Divine Principle is that “your word is law.”

God created the Universe with words. He said, “Let there be light.” Jesus worked miracles with words. He said, “Say the word and you are healed.” Moses was given the word, the Holy Commandments, from God.

Words create everything, because words are the embodiment of thought. They respect all that you focus on, all that you believe. They paint your inner landscape and reveal your degree of commitment. Words reflect your soul and express your enthusiasm. Words move from fear or out of faith. Words are the summary of your creativity in motion.

If your words, like seeds, are carelessly strewn about in endless directions, then your words will be weak, die off, and never grow your dreams. If, however, you carefully, lovingly plant your words to express the full intention of your dream, they will bloom into your desire right before your astonished eyes.

My mother taught me the power of words as a child. She said that God gave us an incredible power to create through our words, and if we put all of our energy behind our words without any doubt, then what we said would come true.

I experimented with this idea as a teenager. I remember watching TV one day during Christmas season, and I saw one of the local stations doing a promotion. Santa Claus was driving around Denver looking for anyone who put the words “KWGN Merry Christmas Santa” on a big sign in their window. If your sign was spotted by the TV Santa, then he would stop in and give you a giant color TV.

To a 13 year old in a family that didn’t have much money, the idea of winning a color TV sounded fantastic! I decided to use my full energy and the power of my word to get that TV. I wrote down “KWGN Merry Christmas Santa. Love, Sonia”

on a big sign and said out loud, with my full energy, “Santa, come to my house now” as I taped it to our window.

My brothers and sisters watched me, amused.

“Do you think you’ll win?” my sister Noelle asked as I put on the tape.

“Mark my words,” I said. “This TV is mine. Santa will come!”

That was on Thursday night. Friday after school I came home to find my mother very excited.

“You’ll never guess what happened today,” she said.

“What? What?” I cried.

“At 7:45, two minutes after you left for school, when I was still in my nightgown with no makeup on, the doorbell rang. When I opened the door a TV camera was in my face, with Santa Claus right behind it, handing me a brand new TV! I was so embarrassed I just about died. So waiting for you in the living room is your new color TV from Santa, Sonia, and I’ll be on the evening news in my underwear!”

We all squealed with delight. In less than 24 hours of my saying the word, the TV arrived from Santa. That was my Christmas miracle, and a life-changing experience. The reward of a new TV was enough evidence for me to respect the power of words.

Sonia Choquette, Ph.D.
Psychic, Healer, & Author

Sonia Choquette is a world-renowned and highly spirited six-sensory author, story teller energetic healer, and intuitive teacher who specializes in helping others recognize that we are all endowed with a sixth sense that we can count on.

A masterful and humorous teacher committed to strengthening intuition in our daily lives, she is the bestselling author of seven books:

Diary of a Psychic,
The Psychic Pathway,
Your Heart's Desire,
The Wise Child, True Balance, Your Psychic Pathway to New Beginnings,
Your Psychic Pathway to Joy,
and numerous audio editions.

A highly trained six-sensory intuitive and life guide, with an extensive background in Eastern and Western mysticism, Sonia was educated at the University of Denver and at the Sorbonne in Paris, and holds a Ph.D. in metaphysics.

She says, "I am comfortably and competently intuitive because I was encouraged at all times to be awake, aware, and guided by my sixth sense. I grew up in an environment that treated the sixth sense as the first and most important of our senses. I view it not only as natural, but actually essential to successful navigation in life. Intuition is a gift that we all have, that we can all experience, that we can all trust and that we all need!"

In working with people for more than 32 years of almost daily one-on-one private consultations, Sonia insists that the sixth sense is natural to us all, but dormant in most. Whether we call them "hunches" or "feelings" or as she does, "vibes," everyone has them, but unfortunately most people dismiss or ignore them to their detriment.

As we try to adapt to the world we now live in, Sonia emphasizes that trusting our vibes, our sixth sense in action is "no longer optional. Awakening and strengthening our sixth sense is becoming more and more fundamental to our ability to live harmoniously with ourselves and others in the new world order."

Paying attention to the sixth sense-learning to listen to it, to trust it, to train oneself to call on its guidance-are the challenges facing six-sensory people trapped in a five-sensory culture.

Approaching human potential "from the inside, out," Sonia offers a unique brand of grounded and practical techniques for people to use in order to activate their most sense and let it lead their everyday life. Her mission, in other words, is to help people to "trust their vibes."

She guides them in how to build a psychic scaffolding to support their sixth sense so they can be more brilliant and effective than they've ever thought possible.

She teaches that our sixth sense's primary function is to guide our soul's growth and keep us connected to our path and purpose-without its direction, we lose our way.

In her first book, The Psychic Pathway, Sonia introduces us to our 'vibes." In her latest book, Trust Your Vibes, she shows you how to master them.

Sonia's own path has encompassed bestselling books published in more than 23 countries, speaking and conducting workshops around the globe, thousands of grateful clients, and a home in Chicago that she shares with husband Patrick Tully, daughters Sonia and Sabrina, and a poodle named Miss T.
