Cancer New Moon:
Surge of Love
By Simone Butler
On a gray November day in 2002, Shelley Yates was traveling to a friend’s house in Nova Scotia with her four-year-old son, Evan, when her car hydroplaned and was swept into a flooded marsh. As she relates in her website, the car landed upside down and quickly sank to the bottom. Panicked, Shelley struggled without success to open the windows and doors. There seemed to be no way out.
“That is when I heard a calm, majestic voice directing me to relax,” she says. The voice told Shelley that all would be well if she followed instructions. Though not a religious person, she surrendered to this voice from beyond and passed quietly over to the other side. There she saw Beings of Light, who assured her that she and Evan would be fine.
It took rescuers fifteen minutes to pull Shelley’s body from the car and another seven minutes of CPR to revive her. Evan was whisked him away to a local hospital and hooked up to life-support; doctors said he was brain-dead and his organs were non-viable.
Once again Shelley heard the voice saying, “Have faith.” She was instructed to parade loving people through Evan’s room every half hour, infusing him with their energy. She convinced the hospital to allow this unorthodox plan, and after 72 hours of constant vigil, Evan opened his eyes. He soon made a full recovery. Baffled doctors called it a miracle.
Shelley continued to hear the voices, which directed her to organize another very special event. The Light Beings explained that each species of animal has its own grid-like source energy, which allows easy communication between individual members. But human beings chose long ago to disconnect from our collective grid in order to have free will. Not only has this jammed the communication lines with our divine source, but it has also brought much harm to the Earth.
If enough of us came together at the same time, Shelley was told, we could send a powerful surge of love to the Earth that would catapult it into healingmuch like what happened to Evan. By focusing our individual energies for one hour, we could regenerate the badly deteriorated energy field of the planetwhile simultaneously reconnecting with our collective energy grid.
July 17, 2007 at 11:11 am Greenwich time (4:11 am PDT) is the appointed time.
Before you say, “I’m not getting up at that hour for anything,” or dismiss this as yet another airy-fairy event, please note that the chosen date has powerful astrological correspondences. July 17 falls just three days after the potent New Moon in Cancer of July 14th. And, it’s the day of Pluto’s second exact conjunction to the Galactic Center, that zone in the Milky Way the ancient Mayans considered the “womb of creation.” (Pluto came very close to this point in March-April 2006, formed an exact conjunction on Dec. 30 and will make the final activation on Oct. 28, 2007.) The GC transmits information from the greater cosmos which can trigger memories of other lifetimes or dimensions; tune in closely for messages, dreams or intuitive flashes from July 14-17.
The New Moon of the 14th happens just after Mercury turns direct in Cancer on July 9, and before Venus goes backward in Virgo on July 27. Therefore, most of the planets are in direct motionan auspicious time to launch new things. And, the New Moon’s graceful trine to innovative Uranus in Pisces makes this an especially creative and spiritually rewarding time. We can plant new seeds in unusually fertile soil, or harness our creative powers to bring existing projects to fruition.
A few minutes after the divinely appointed time (11:11 am GMT or 4:11 am PDT) on July 17, the Moon conjuncts Venus in Virgothe two most feminine planets joining forces in the sign of healing. Combined with the Sun in the nurturing sign of Cancer, which represents home and familyincluding our greater human familythe energies could not be better for projecting a “surge of love” to our planetary mother.
For one hour on the morning of July 17, we are asked to join in fervent union with other hearts around the world and send that love to Mother Earth. Meditate, play joyful music, repeat positive words of hope, love and intention for change, sing, dance or make love. If enough of us make the effort to do this, who knows what magic we can create!
Note: You may still participate without physically joining in, though the impact may be less powerful. Simply write a note to your inner being, giving it permission to connect with the grid on your behalf during that timeframe. State what brings you joy and what kind of world you wish to manifest. Then, sign the note and go to bed. For more information, visit www.firethegrid.org.
