Thoughts Create

by Sonia Choquette, Ph.D.

As creative beings our ultimate purpose in life and our greatest lesson on earth is to fully embrace our creative power and learn to master it. In order to do this we begin by learning exactly how the creative process works. We don’t create randomly, nor is creativity haphazard, though it certainly can appear to be so to the uninformed or untrained eye. Rather our creativity and all creativity follows certain specific Divine Laws. Once we understand these laws and align ourselves with them fully, our creativity flows exactly the way we want it to creating what we hope and dream of. The first of these Divine dream laws is that all creative force is initiated with thought.

In fact, metaphysicians and quantum physicists alike confirm that everything in the physical universe, including you and me, solely are made of a “mindstall” thought. So, ultimately everything in the universe, and more importantly everything in your personal world is essentially an idea made manifest.

With that in mind, creating is a relatively simple process. If you choose good ideas you create good outcomes.

The trick is learning to control and choose your thoughts so they do create in a way that you want. Start right now to see how your thoughts have created so far by examining and looking over the landscape of your life as it is today. It is eye opening isn’t it? Of course, it is easy, or at least easier to accept that your thoughts created the good things; those aspects that you enjoy, are comfortable with and take pride in. It just gets a lot trickier when you face things that seem to have nothing to do with you, or worse yet seem to happen to you or for which you had no conscious thought. For example, things like natural disasters, wars, terrorist attacks and so forth. Suggesting to someone new to this lesson that their thoughts created this is almost insulting.

The key is to first make the distinction between creative responsibility and blame. We do create and it is what we are here to learn, but we do not necessarily create all the time on a conscious level. However, it is true in the sense that when we don’t use our creativity consciously, it can and does get hijacked and is used against us. In fact, the whole point of learning this lesson is to stop creating on an unconscious level and stop surrendering our creative power over to an unconscious world thought patterns that can catch us up in collective disaster, pain and destruction and when we consciously learn to use own creativity it will stop being used against us, and even for natural disasters, wars terrorist attacks do occur, we will not be part of them, or destroyed by them. We rise to a higher vibration and are free of this chaos.

The key is to recognize that learning this lesson all people presently create in one of two ways; either consciously and alignment with Divine Law or unconsciously, carried away by the chaos of the world and the results are vastly different surprisingly. When we create on an unconscious level we do it through attention. At this level our thoughts run rampant and wild, and are easily manipulated by outside influences, past negative patterns, and world fears. These energies capture and hold our awareness hostage, and consequently like all endless vicious cycles we keep reproducing disappointment after disappointment as our creation.

Look at your life right now, and see how it reflects your attention? Along with it comes your unconscious creation.

I had a client named Lynn who focused her attention exclusively on being alone. An only child, and an orphan because both parents had died, she was abandoned by both her husband and her boyfriend leaving her of course, alone in the world.

Her attention was so mesmerized with her aloneness that she literally deflected or sabotaged any effort from others to connect with her in a more intimate way.

Though she desperately wanted to create intimacy and connection, her attention was focused otherwise and wouldn’t budge. I’ve known her ten years, and in that time nothing has changed. Until her attention shifts, nothing will.

The second and much more powerful way to create is consciously, through intention. Intention reflects accurate awareness and understanding and acceptance on your part that thought creates and that you choose to use your thoughts in a way that serves you.

A set intention directs thought on an unwavering course. It parts the Red Sea of opposition and begins to bend and shape the physical world in exactly the way you want it to go, as if my magic what appears resistant gives way to cooperation and what may have felt like a struggle gives way to ease. Always.

Reflect on areas where you’ve set an intention and succeeded and see what I mean. Simply notice the higher more intense vibration that intention holds over attention, and the power it propels forward.

Intention owns and channels thought. It dictates the course and commands control over all external forces. The world submits to unwavering intention always. It is the law. Think of various ways in which you’ve set intention in your own life and notice the creative outcomes they’ve produced.

Recently my older daughter Sonia upon getting her first car, invited her younger sister Sabrina out for an inaugural ride three blocks from our house, she unexpectedly hit a pot hole in the road which bent her tire rim and gave her a flat tire. Shocked and angry she had the car towed back to the dealership where she explained what had happened. To her outraged they said “tough luck,” and “not our problem” and dismissed her saying it would cost $350 to fix. Intending justice, she refused the verdict. Unwavering, she wrote the dealership manager, the car manufacturer and the tire manufacturer insisting the rim and tire be immediately replaced without charge. So focused on the outcome, she intended, she wouldn’t even entertain a conversation to the contrary. Her intention prevailed. Not only did she receive a response within 48 hours, she received a new tire rim, a new tire, and a years worth of free car detailing with an apology from the manufacturer for her misfortune trouble. Was she surprised? No. She was resolute. This is a quick example of the power of intention. I never doubted she would succeed. We felt her intention in action.

Moving your awareness from attention to indicates that you accept and understand the creative force of your thoughts and are willing to become responsible for them.

Though this may seem like a daunting and endless assignment to have to examine direct all of your thought correctly it can be done. One step at a time.

At first it feels overwhelming, but it gets easier if you stop resisting the reality of your thought power. Just believe no thought is neutral. No thought is benign. They all have force and when you gather up that force and direct it consciously, or unconsciously it is bound to manifest something, no exceptions.

The good news is that you don’t have to monitor all of your thoughts all the time, just the ones that work against you. Some thoughts are creating fine outcomes, so leave them alone. Pay attention to those that work against you and undermine your goals and begin there.

The key to this lesson is before even beginnings to sort the production thoughts from those that are counter productive whole heartedly accept your assignment to realize thoughts creates, and you are responsible for yours.

To help learn this lesson

•Notice the god or positive creations in your life and appreciate what a great job you’ve done to create it.

•Start noticing where you place your attention, including what you think about, talk about, hear others talk about, focus on television or radio, and the way it reflects in your personal life experience.

•Choose small goals, like finding an ideal parking space, or receiving a compliment at work and use your thoughts to create it. Have fun as you become familiar with this creative power.

Notice if you have goals, or if you drift aimless by day to day. Aimless drifting Reveals that your unconscious attention is held in control by others while goals. Indicate setting your own intention.

Practice, Practice, Practice choosing thoughts that serve your goals.

Sonia Choquette, Ph.D.
Psychic, Healer, & Author

Sonia Choquette is a world-renowned and highly spirited six-sensory author, story teller energetic healer, and intuitive teacher who specializes in helping others recognize that we are all endowed with a sixth sense that we can count on.

A masterful and humorous teacher committed to strengthening intuition in our daily lives, she is the bestselling author of seven books:

Diary of a Psychic,
The Psychic Pathway,
Your Heart's Desire,
The Wise Child, True Balance, Your Psychic Pathway to New Beginnings,
Your Psychic Pathway to Joy,
and numerous audio editions.

A highly trained six-sensory intuitive and life guide, with an extensive background in Eastern and Western mysticism, Sonia was educated at the University of Denver and at the Sorbonne in Paris, and holds a Ph.D. in metaphysics.

She says, "I am comfortably and competently intuitive because I was encouraged at all times to be awake, aware, and guided by my sixth sense. I grew up in an environment that treated the sixth sense as the first and most important of our senses. I view it not only as natural, but actually essential to successful navigation in life. Intuition is a gift that we all have, that we can all experience, that we can all trust and that we all need!"

In working with people for more than 32 years of almost daily one-on-one private consultations, Sonia insists that the sixth sense is natural to us all, but dormant in most. Whether we call them "hunches" or "feelings" or as she does, "vibes," everyone has them, but unfortunately most people dismiss or ignore them to their detriment.

As we try to adapt to the world we now live in, Sonia emphasizes that trusting our vibes, our sixth sense in action is "no longer optional. Awakening and strengthening our sixth sense is becoming more and more fundamental to our ability to live harmoniously with ourselves and others in the new world order."

Paying attention to the sixth sense-learning to listen to it, to trust it, to train oneself to call on its guidance-are the challenges facing six-sensory people trapped in a five-sensory culture.

Approaching human potential "from the inside, out," Sonia offers a unique brand of grounded and practical techniques for people to use in order to activate their most sense and let it lead their everyday life. Her mission, in other words, is to help people to "trust their vibes."

She guides them in how to build a psychic scaffolding to support their sixth sense so they can be more brilliant and effective than they've ever thought possible.

She teaches that our sixth sense's primary function is to guide our soul's growth and keep us connected to our path and purpose-without its direction, we lose our way.

In her first book, The Psychic Pathway, Sonia introduces us to our 'vibes." In her latest book, Trust Your Vibes, she shows you how to master them.

Sonia's own path has encompassed bestselling books published in more than 23 countries, speaking and conducting workshops around the globe, thousands of grateful clients, and a home in Chicago that she shares with husband Patrick Tully, daughters Sonia and Sabrina, and a poodle named Miss T.
