Hi Fyre, Thank you for responding to my question.
My daughter Kristin (9-4-89) is getting married in Nov 08. Her mother and I aren't pleased about this decision. He isn't a nice man, he lacks personality. I just FEEL HE IS NOT THE RIGHT PERSON FOR HER. Will this actually happen?

I am pleased to be able to address your question.
I understand your feelings. We want the best for our children and often times the decisions they make aren't the ones we would. Having said that, I do feel there is a wedding in the future for her. You must decide now, if you wish to be a part of her life. If you continue to dislike this man it will affect her and your relationship with her. She loves this man, if you do not embrace her choice. She will pull away from you.
Whether you like him or not, isn't the issue. I feel this marriage will happen with you or without you. There will be issues, there will be some stress and it will go through some difficult times. However, I feel your daughter is stubborn and she will work very hard to keep it going in a positive direction. This is a good year for entering into new long-term relationships.
