Charoite is a true "Stone of Transformation" providing for the transmutation of negative into positive, loving energy and facilitating total acceptance of others, without judgment. Charoite energizes the heart and crown chakras, stimulating unconditional love.Works in concert with the Third Eye and Crown chakras to transmute fear and to allow us to see our old patterns with new possibilities, inspiring us to formulate more beneficial patterns/habits. Charoite is a purifier of conditions both physical and environmental. "While it encourages depth of surrender and search, it opens to larger fields of beauty and truth." Caring for Stones
(How not to bust ones Agates)

Cleansing:

Stones come in contact with and absorb a variety of energies, so it is always a good idea to perform a purification and cleansing before using them. The following are a few of the more common methods, preferred because they utilize the powers of the elements:

1.) Place stones outside in direct sunlight for 3 days to a week. Each day, at dusk, remove the stones. You can then check how they feel. Some stones will clear in only a day.

2.) Bury stones in the ground for a week or two, allowing the earth to purify them.

3.) Place in a net bag, secured, (so they do not float away) in a nearby stream, overnight and allow the moving water to purify them.

4.) Place covered in Kosher Salt or Sea Salt overnight.

You will know when they have been cleansed by the way they feel and look. A "cleared" stone has life and vibrancy.

Stones like to be bathed in light. Keep them out of harms way in a sunny area. When carrying them, use a fold of soft cloth or a special bag.
