Breaking Free:
The Double Bind and How it Affects Us

In 1998, I created a system consisting of a pendulum and a series of charts that could be used to uncover and clear subconscious programs. The system is called Releasing Soul Barriers to Health, Wealth, & Happiness or Soul Clearing. Soul Clearing has been very useful for people who dislike some of their current behavior but cannot determine the root cause, often because it occurred in previous incarnations. Once the root cause has been brought to consciousness and cleared, the unwanted behavior dissipates.


In the course of examining the unconscious records of many of my clients, I discovered a condition that I entitled the "double bind". The double bind is a program that creates an either/or situation. If we have "X", then we cannot have "Y" and vice versa. There are many popular proverbs that represent the double bind in our society, e.g., you can't have your cake and eat it too, take the bitter with the sweet, etc. We are ingrained with believing we cannot have it all, and I believe this is a mistruth. Why can't we have it all? Why have we been programmed to expect lack following abundance? Well, we can change our programming by uncovering and clearing the double bind programs under which we operate.


Double bind programs hinder our spiritual growth. Either/or conditions limit our growth in consciousness because we expect limitations. The following highlights some of the double bind programs that I have identified on a planetary level, i.e., all of us carry them in our energy field.


·We cannot expect smooth sailing all of the time. Bad things happen to good people so, as I already mentioned, we are programmed to believe we must take bitter with the sweet. This is a mass consciousness belief.

·If we are sexual, we cannot be spiritual. By sexual, I mean sensuous and erotic rather than sadistic or masochistic. This is part of the mass consciousness belief system, perpetuated by centuries of formal religious doctrine that claims the spirit is willing while the flesh is weak. Charles Darwin's theory of evolution added to this perception by viewing our ancestors as animals, thereby conflicting with a view of ourselves as spirit having a physical experience rather than descendants of apes. However, we also carry a double bind program in our energy field that causes our base instinct for survival and breeding to conflict with the kundalini rising that accompanies spiritual enlightenment.

·The more that we experience growth in the higher level chakra centers, e.g., brow and crown chakras that connects with Divinity, the more we decrease our ability to be open and balanced in the lower chakras, e.g., root and sexual chakras that connect with the physical experience. This is actually a double bind program that exists at the DNA level, perhaps intended to enable us to better focus on opening the higher chakras. However, the program actually negates our ability to be spirit in physical form by denying our physicality as a Divine vehicle.


If you would like to remove these double bind program, you can use the following prayer request to alter your subconscious programs and your DNA. Prior to reading the request, you will need to instruct your subconscious to create a "surcharge" of vital force (i.e., mana, prana, chi).

Then breathe deeply six times using the following pattern:
inhale slowly to the count of four, hold to the count of four, exhale slowly to the count of eight. This is an ancient Polynesian or Kahuna breathing pattern that generates a great deal of vital force. Please note that vital force is not the breath itself. It is the combustion of energy that occurs when oxygen enters the body and interacts with the stored fats, proteins, and carbohydrates in your cells. Command your subconscious to send the vital force to your spiritual committee and High Self to be used to enact the following request. Then, read the request aloud.

·Please conduct all of the following requests on me or any version of me for all interdimensional levels, all energy bodies into infinity, all aspects of the soul, all parallel and multidimensional lives, all past/present/future lives in all concepts of time, on all subconscious levels of thought, throughout eternity. Remove all trauma, transmuting it to love, while retaining all learning experiences free of trauma.

·Extract me from the mass disbelief system that claims that we cannot have our cake and eat it too. Enable me to align with the perception that there is boundless abundance so I can have my cake and eat it too.
·Remove the conflict between the breeding program and the use of sexual energy for spiritual evolvement. Enable the base instinct for survival to continue in conjunction with the ability to employ the kundalini energy for spiritual enlightenment.

·Remove my perception of the contradiction between spiritual growth and sexuality. Enable me to view myself and act as a spiritual being having a physical experience. Remove my perception of my fall from grace and reinstate my Divinity.

·Remove the double-bind DNA program that decreases energy in the lower chakra centers when higher chakra centers expand and grow. Enable (NAME) to have access to 100% energy from all chakras at any given time to more fully realize their being.


There are numerous double bind programs, and they are too numerous to clear in a short article. Now that you are aware of the double bind, pay attention to moments when you feel conflicted. Use the format of the prayer request I have provided to create one of your own and clear all limitations to your life experience.
