Hello Sweet Friends! Hope this find you well and joyful.
I'm back with part 2 of my adventures in NYC during the blackout, coupled with the continuation of the above subject. What's so great about writing this broadbased Paranormal Potpourri column, is, I get to talk about ANYTHING metaphysical!
Curious, isn't it? How my first articles, and ensuing ones, reflected on how the power of our thoughts affect ELECTRICITY? Could I have, maybe…known something? Whatever, I was surely compelled and guided to write about it.
I KNOW The Meta Arts E-zine has the BEST astrologers available…but I must confess: I carry my handy pocket Celestial Calendar, created by world-renowned astrologer/artist, Jim Maynard (celestialcalendars@email.com), practically wherever I go. It describes the meaning of the zodiac, planets and aspects in very simple to understand terms.
On the day of the blackout, Pluto (radical transformation) was squaring (challenging), Uranus (electricity) and a Void-Of-Course (unclear, confusing), waning full moon (strong, but not focused emotions). I could continue, but you get the picture. The 'advance warning' from Jim Maynard's Calendar helped quite a bit; deciphering it helped too! Venus (Love) was trining (easy) Pluto. This made Love reign supreme. Neptune (Highest ideals or fogginess) was sextiling (stimulating but quite workable/favorable) Pluto.
This isn't to say that all the love and light and kindred thoughts wouldn't have worked on their own. Light always overcomes darkness. It might've taken longer. It's just nice to have Cosmic support; and important to never take our blessings and power for granted. We are now even more mindful of how our thoughts affect things--astrological aspects or not!
What do you do when you make a wish? I always say in my Mystique of Creating a Winning Streak Seminar that wishing is wishy-washy. But wishing IS wishy-washy, only because wishing is just part of mental creating…an innocent, grand part!
It's like Dusty Springfield's song, "Wishing and Hoping and Thinking, & Praying, planning and scheming each night of his charms-that WON'T get you into his arms!" DOING-ACTING on your dream creates RESULTS! "You've got to SHOW him that you care.." The same goes for the Universal Mind-apparently EVEN Burt Bacharach & Hal David know that;)
So, in this case, you have to show the Universal Mind, the Creator that you care. DO!!! Take ACTION! You know action says and does volumes. As silly as it may sound, I know that wishing on fireflies has worked for me before, and ABSOLUTELY worked the night of the blackout. Until you try it don't knock it;) And please, anyone out there that's had a successful track record with this write in;)!
It worked that night, because I was running a pretty high fever, and there was no A/C. I wanted to 'will it away,' create a change and ask for the lights to go back on;) And strange as that seems, they DID;)! Each and every wish was granted very quickly, and soon after I stated each as a DECREE in the present tense, "let there be light!" There WAS light!
Remember our last column, as well as others I've shared with you: When you have a strong intention and you make the decree, that it is already done, than IT IS!
So, the way I phrased the firefly decree is: All of my deepest, sweetest, most win-win heart's desires ARE ALREADY granted and the decree has been ACTUALIZED-- ESPECIALLY THE LIGHTS AND POWER BEING RESTORED EVERYWHERE, ASAP! And it is about to manifest itself NOW!
When I made that decree, it was sort of like an advanced reservation and I was thinking that--wow, I wouldn't have asked for that much if it were only for me…but so many others were in great need. FYI: Selfless Decrees got honored mighty quickly;) ooh! I just saw another firefly flash. That is so cool because it is kind of late for them to be out. It's 3:30 am.
They usually go to bed early as the summer wanes. At first, my deepest heart's desire was just to get myself to the park, get my fever down, and help my neighbors. And here I am, overlooking the gorgeous Hudson River. I helped neighbors in my building and throughout the neighborhood distribute, flashlights, batteries, food and water…everyone was helpful, friendly and loving.
Then, rather than dwelling on the hot, sticky, weather and the fearfulness generated by the terror news, we focused on the beautiful, beautiful Hudson River; the fragrance of the night foliage, especially the night jasmine-yum (many of you know I borrow them for my homemade scents)! The boundless, awesome night sky, and all of this wonder upon us is beyond verbal description. After we combed the area and did what we could, we rejoiced with the faith that all would be well-and it WAS!!!
The joy was contagious, dwarfing the discomfort. We were so happy. WE KNEW and MENTALLY SAW the power restored IMMINENTLY. We decreed: IT ALREADY IS restored and ever-present on the higher realms, so it'll be here SOON! And so it was!
Ok, sorry for the prosaic analogy to 'darkness upon the Earth'--Let there be Light-But let's face it. We draw what we think, for better or worse...even and especially as a mass consciousness--that's a Universal Immutable Law.
Therefore, this is the type of thing that a person needs to do. Go beyond. Stretch. Do not look at the actuality. The actuality is what you see, but it is circumstantial, it is NOT necessarily what you get. It's NOT REAL. What you get is what you create inside. There is an old adage, I believe it came from the Rosicrucians: "As above so below."
Essentially, it's very Jungian, in that whatever is going on inside manifests itself outside and visa versa; but he went a step further, which I adored. Jung actually talked about your house--how does it look? A forerunner of Feng Shui
I know for sure they were doing that in the Far East a long time ago, but Westerners didn't implement it until recently. Yung always used to say, that the way your outer world looks, your body, but also your home is a reflection of you, as well.
So, all the depression, or whatever was going on would come out; interesting with disabled folks doing their darndest and their house not looking the best, nor were they. He wasn't speaking of them or judging them for being 'bad'…maybe they were too GOOD! But they were sick, and they couldn't take care of themselves.
So I think it is very important that people don't judge a book by its cover completely. Jung had the right idea in that you can and do create situations (as a group or individually), with your thoughts affecting the way you and your home look-to an extent.
My associates and I have made sick peoples' houses beautiful. That clearly reflected that they had so much love inside of them, and deserved the love back. So there it is. This isn't to say that a sloppy, cluttered area ALWAYS means, the person is that way inside. I've known great geniuses, who, as they say "have order to their disorder;0)". I daren't name names, but they are quite well known and materially very successful.
So, as above so below; the inner reflects the outer and the outer reflects the inner. These are things to contemplate, but also you can just look at it from the standpoint of, "I don't embrace that 100% because sometimes, for example someone may deliberately dress shabbily, or not fancily, so as not to draw attention."
When I go to the park, I wear a ponytail, jeans and a teeshirt. Not dressed as if I am going to some kind of banquet. If it is deserted, and dark, I am not looking like I am trying to make new friends and influence people;)
Use common sense, and it's interesting because the people in the park who had just experienced the wonderful Hudson River united prayer/decree vigil that I'd put together, were coming from such a different INNER place. Metropolis surrounded them, but they embraced the inner so much, their auras were shining!
Very different from an uptight fellow who had rented a car, returned it, and yelled at everyone around him, as though the blackout was EVERYONE ELSE'S 'fault'. I gave him a huge cup of water and he melted with goodness.
A testament to the fact that now, more than ever, people just need reassurance and extra love in a crisis. So there we go again. People slamming doors in your face. People shunting you. People being rude to you. You must not, repeat, must not absorb this energy. It has zero, nothing, nothing to do with you. Nothing. It is not even about developing a thick skin.
If you're a sweetheart and if you're a good, kind, gentle, sensitive person, stay that way. Don't "develop a thick skin." We sensitives have been hearing throughout our lives, "Develop a thick skin, shake it off."
I run into people all the time, who tell me "I've learned to deflect negativity." Well, you know what? Let's get beyond deflecting negativity, shall we? Instead of deflecting negativity, let's not even see it as negative. Let's not do that to ourselves. That's a tough thing.
Let us continue to bulldoggedly, if need be, NOT be shaken by outward, difficult 'illusions'; we all know that nothing external is real; just actual.
With a steadfast mindfulness that you are not alone in your idealism--greet each day with the wonder of knowing that life is eternal, love DOES conquer all, and the achievement level of your Decrees is commensurate WITH YOUR FAITH IN IT'S OUTWORKING.
Yes, we as individuals are responsible for our thoughts, but we must make a concerted effort to stay out of Harm's Way. If you know someone is unkind, thoughtless and selfish, etc. when is it correct to walk into that fire with both eyes open?
