The new. The NOW-heart and seed of limitlessness achievement! Yes! Moving into fresh air is enlivening; so, too, is moving into untried venues and unknown, but stimulating places-both geographically or intellectually.
Of course, this immediately brings to mind two splendid people: Robbie Goldstein and Rhonda Crowder, THE Publishers and Editors of The Meta Arts Magazine! Exactly one year ago, these brave, innovative souls plunged into unknown, untried ground. Sure, there are and have been other E-zines, laden with advertisements, self-promotion and chaotic message boards. I even served as Moderator for Mindwatch.com, based in Switzerland. The spirit was gentle and pure, the intent clean, but economics forced it to become a host to sell expensive jewelry, for only the rich.
The Meta Arts is a REAL Magazine, with such superb material, it feels like a true "Online Metaphysical College"! R&R-My Heartiest and Hardiest Congratulations to you. May you enjoy ALL and as much and many years of the continued success your precious hearts' desire!!!!
Movement and change are a part of life's procession. Stagnation in any form is counterproductive to sustaining a life, a business, a relationship-anything. When you're placed in a situation and must make a choice or decision, by all means, if you can ponder it, or sleep on it (ONLY if you don't feel strongly one way or the other), then do; but DON'T ponder too long. Opportunities are sent to us to test our metal; If you're scared, but excited, take a peek at the future. What will working toward that goal and diving right in to it bring you down the road? Do you like what you see? Then DO IT!
The same goes for seemingly 'bad' situations. So many of my students are sorry when they don't follow the 'first impression' rule I teach in my Intuitive Development seminar.
If you're fortunate enough to get a 'hit' to do something, then don't chicken out-DO IT! The same goes for learning to understand warning signs-heed them!
Yes, I know so many of you have written to me with a common thread of inquiry. The archetypal 'bully'; the 'my way or the highway' sort of person. I must say that this person shows up when you are at your most vulnerable. He/She feels that you are needy, and not strong enough to break away. Often, I've seen this with financially dependent spouses.
I've also seen this in relationships where the often stronger, brighter (general leader) person is physically handicapped. The weaker person, in desperate need for a self-ego boost, lays down the law, and sullies the association; the service of love becomes conditional and irrational, e.g. a young man who wrote, described how in the course of his 'friend' doing an easy errand, refused to pick up a well needed grocery item, just to get 'her way'. No other reason. This was accompanied with a threat that it she were was not ''obeyed,'' nothing would be gotten, though the item was sorely needed; and if he kept 'acting up' she'd never do anything for him again. Sweet. This from a woman, who when the tables were turned, was able to count on this now disabled friend as a rock for her.
So, what was he to do to turn the arrangement into a positive experience? I suggested that he go to his inner compass, his compassion, his heart, and pray deeply. He also went to the archives of The Meta Arts and was particularly aided by my Pizzaz monographs that covered "Childlike innocence and disconcerned faith.''
His faith in the Divine outworking was so strong, he told his surly friend not do him any more favors. He insisted that his faith was so rooted in justice, he knew his value, respected himself, and trusted in The Almighty. Since he KNEW all would work out, and it did! He walked the talk;)! Very crucial.
How easy to forget how our Creator loves and protects us always. How easy to allow ourselves to receive that Divine healing. It overrides any and all physical limitations, despite what the rational, limited mind will try to convince you is 'bad' and 'hopeless'. This is the key to true transformation. That and, even if it takes 2 minutes-do SOMETHING EVERYDAY that leads you to a NEW happier, better life! You can do it!
Enjoy yourselves and be good to yourselves. Be kind to yourselves and above all, have confidence in yourself. Do you know from where the word "confidence" comes? It's derived from the Latin verb "confidar" which means to trust. Therefore, you have to trust yourself and trust your heart. Your heart is attached to the Creator. With that, all things are possible. You know that TOGETHER we restored light from earthy darkness. As UNITED LOVE LIGHTS, we can do ANYTHING! Let's keep up the great work!;)
