Charlene Boyd

Charlene has a M.A. in speech pathology and audiology and worked in the public schools for 20 years. She has worked in veterinary hospitals and been involved in Bearded Collies since 1984. She had the number one Bearded Collie for two years Am Can. CH. Classical's Heir Apparent. Desmond won a Best In Show and the breed at Westminster Kennel Club at Madison Square Garden. She has done herding, obedience and agility with her dogs.
She has worked as a professional animal communicator for 8 years and writes a monthly newsletter for clients and professional animal care practioners.
She has studied with Carol Gurney, one of the pioneers in the field of animal communication and worked as Carol's assistant when Carol was writing her book. She has also taken extensive coursework with Dr. Jeri Ryan, Teresa Wagner, Lydia Hiby and Marta Williams. Her specialty includes issues of death and dying, pet loss and grief support.
She resides in Southern Calif. with her husband, three Bearded Collies and cat.
