Good Afternoon,
Danny my husband (date of birth edited) and I ( date of birth edited) seem to come from opposite ends of the universe. Will our marriage last? Will we ever be happy with each other? It has been a struggle since we met. I met him during my year long transit of moon-void-of course. There is a powerful attraction that keeps us together but the fact is we don't like each other very much a lot of the time and out outlook on life is diametrically opposed to one another.

Im not sure that the information im receiving is the ultimate end outcome. To be honest, i don't feel that in most cases, we really know what the end outcome for something is until its chosen and decided. I think we choose as we go along but i do feel that given the energy between you and Danny right now, and what i see, i can tell you what i feel is coming up and what has been the difficulties you both face.
I don't know how long you have been together but there has been work on not feeling constantly hurt by each other even though i feel that between you both one has more power than the other does and one gives more than the other does. You mention aolot of chemistry and powerful attraction. I certainly wont deny that, but it came across to me as a strong feeling of security, control ( and not control in a bad way) but in home base way that has given you both a feeling of strength and healing which was also part of the reason you came together in the first place.
Now underneath it, I see Danny as someone who withdraws, who becomes pessimistic, who has a hard time forgiving , looking at his own patterns and moving past them, as well as feeling that his way of lifestyle is very different from yours. One of the things you need to get past is the feeling that each of you have about the other person and the power or control you feel you both exert .
I also feel he needs to be seen a certain way and that other people and their opinions matter to him. While i have to say i do see an end to part of this relationship, at the very least, an end to part of it, and i DO see that you are hurt, and that you need more than you feel he can give you , i also feel that you have decided this just isn't going to work for me in the long run at all. Its almost as if you feel "fate" or the opportunity for the relationship to have worked out has past and you need to end it.
My answer was that what needs to happen is a completely new way of communicating with each other based on the desire to keep what you have intact and allow the history, the sweetness that IS there the strength that IS there become more important than the things i have mentioned. I do feel this is a highly workable salvageable relationship.
