"Addiction and Spirituality" will be presented on March 18, 2008; 7:30pm to 9:00 pm, by Ed Conlin, BSEd, CAC-2; addiction counselor, Jefferson House.
This presentation will explore spiritual needs, life choices, and
the spirituality of the 12 Steps; and discuss how the 12 Steps can benefit anyone, whether in recovery from chemical dependency or not. This workshop is part of the Dawn Farm Education Series, a FREE, annual workshop series developed to provide accurate, helpful, hopeful, practical, current information about chemical dependency, recovery, family and related issues; and to dispel the myths, misinformation, secrecy, shame and stigma that prevent chemically dependent individuals and their families from getting help and getting well.
Workshops are free and open to anyone interested in attending, including people with alcoholism/addiction, people in recovery, people interested in recovery,family members/friends and others affected by chemical dependency, people who work with chemically dependent individuals, students, people interested in any topic for any reason – ALL ARE WELCOME!
Registration is not required. 1.5 hours of free C.E. approved by MCBAP (Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals) is offered for each workshop. A certificate to document attendance is provided on request. The Education Series is organized by Dawn Farm, a non-profit community

Group of Mekubalim, Torah scholars and Mystics announce that Moshiach ben Dovid is now among us
Assembled in Bnei Brak, a group of Mekubalim, Torah scholars, and mystics who studied the signs and events leading to "The End of Days" with the late, Mekubal HaRav Yitzchak Kaduri, zs'l, continue to study and analyze Neviim (books of Prophets), the Torah, Zohar, Neviim, and various other sacred text.
Apparently, these signs and events, such as worldwide geophysical and political events, have, in accordance with the text, occured accurately like clockwork, and has led them to release an extremely serious announcement to Israeli media: It is the final days of the Galut, the Moshiach is among us, and currently in Jerusalem.
